Ideas for Maps!

First of all, It would help if you could draw a picture of this map or even make it with the Tanki MDK (Map Devoping Kit)

 

Secondly, Polygon has the exact same chances of a gold dropping as any other map, just its more frequent there as the Fund rises quicker 

 

Thirdly, having a map with x2 gold chances it OP. So no for that

By the way, the map that you are describing sounds so basic and boring, and basic and boring stuff would bring no fun to the game and basic and boring stuff are just simply... well... boring :mellow:

 

Also, the map you are describing would be heaven for some of the top gold hunters of the EN community.

 

People like a7x_Pedro, and @canooonn :lol:  :lol:  :lol:

This map is not basic nor boring. Just different. I am a very bad gold hunter because I only manage to catch one gold box per week. For people like me, this map would make it easier for those players to catch gold boxes.

How can I draw this map? Please give me a link to the "Tanki MDK (Map Developing Kit). Secondly, I want this map to drop twice as frequent as many gold boxes as Polygon. For this map only x2 gold box drops rate is not OP.

I have an idea about a new type of map that was never designed and made in Tanki Online.

Such a map will not be added any time soon for multiple reasons:

  1. There are already 70 maps in the game, yet nobody plays on them. What's the point of making more if people play on the same 6-7 maps all the time?
  2. There will not be a special map only for the top ranks, since that doesn't fit the rest of the pattern with map unlock ranks.
  3. When a new map is made, there are a lot of aspects involved in order to make it playable. You seem to only be focused on gold boxes, and that is one of the LEAST important factors for making a new map.
  4. We already have an underground map like the one you describe. It's called Subway. So the map you are suggesting is literally going to be a "copycat" map.

Such a map will not be added any time soon for multiple reasons:

  • There are already 70 maps in the game, yet nobody plays on them. What's the point of making more if people play on the same 6-7 maps all the time?
  • There will not be a special map only for the top ranks, since that doesn't fit the rest of the pattern with map unlock ranks.
  • When a new map is made, there are a lot of aspects involved in order to make it playable. You seem to only be focused on gold boxes, and that is one of the LEAST important factors for making a new map.
  • We already have an underground map like the one you describe. It's called Subway. So the map you are suggesting is literally going to be a "copycat" map.

Take your words away, my clan and my friends play on more than 40 maps such as Polygon, Silence, Red Alert, Sandal, Barda, Osa, Noise, Massacre, Madness, Subway, Station, Wolfenstein, Berlin, Monte Carlo, Forest, Bridges and much more. And the worst think is the removing of Deck-9, Canyon, Platform, Moon Silence, Silence II, Crash, Galery and much more maps...

We have to create map with harder for takin Gold Boxes, and a way easier. I am hunting 1-2 golds per week, till today. This week = 0 golds :( . Maybe if the map is short range and golds drop only at the corners will be cool, there is not so easy for take. But for me will be easy :P such as Kungur drop zones.

That is totally Tanki's responsibility.

They have to understand that most people (players) don't create battles but join existing ones.

(only clan members or personal friends can xreate battles and make them popular from the beginning.. single players have to spend a lot of time until somebody joins)

Even in rush hours of Tanki (afternoon) when there are a lot of people playing, empty maps do not get populated.

I have no proof why this is so, but I think that most people don't want to spent 10 or 15 minutes in a deserted map, untill by chance 2 or 3 players join at the same time and create the minimum population for the map to be viable. Makes sense.

 

Tanki could create 6 maps on every server (a pair of small maps, a pair of medium ones and a pair of large ones) and keep them open 24 hours, even if nobody joins. It could even add a "finish bonus" of some crystals (say, 5% extra) for finishing a battle on these maps. That way, people would use the maps and eventually they would come to like the maps and make them popular.

This idea has been suggested, but nothing came of it so far.

in the V log it showed the Christmas tree on an old map i haven't seen in a long time. I think it was called Race. it was a huge map with many levels. I liked it. rehab it and bring it back.

What would be awesome is that the map would be affected by your turrent. Like you could go to a wall ( with a very high-powerd gun, of course.) And be able to partly destroy the wall. After a certain number of hits on the same place on the same wall the wall would give a opening that can be widened and after time the wall will be destroyed. Another thing would be with a damageable map: real battles wodent have just tanks, it would have missiles. In am battle parts of a map would be hit and certain key points on a battle could be lost if hit, but would reset at the end of a battle. Say if a certain defensive point you could not get through it would be a matter of time til it would be damaged and you could charge it.

Agreed.

 

I have always said the maps should be cycled and new ones introduced, and old ones would show up and old ones get cycled in over time again, that way no one is "learning a map", but rather the best way to assess terrian and tank and going for the optimal position.  I know EXACTLY where to camp now on any map I play.  Forcing players into a world that is unknown semi regularly and forcing them to recall a map and MAYBE exploiting that knowledge is far more interesting than players who have memorized maps.

I think there should be a Parkour only map, one that has ramps, jumps, places like stairs that u have to get on to get higher, and other places for when u get to the top that you can either jump or go on a really long ramp/slide down. 

A map Like Montecarlo or skyscrapers, that can have night or day/summer winter options. Hope this helps!!!!!

There should be different maps with new look

Gardan : A small 4 vs 4 Map with tress and Tracks with few jumping ramps

Mountain : A Medium 8 vs 8 Map with Rocks everywhere

Street : A Small 5 vs 5 Map with a long street and some buildings ... good for Shaft

City : A Huge 45 vs 45 Map with long buildings and many long road bridges like highway and no tree just look like a city

Garden would be another sandbox. 

The last map would be too big, even for unity. 90 tanks in one battle is a lot to handle, as well as there being a lot of props in that one map.
