Ideas for Maps!

I would love to see small or big city map.

 

Also i know we need new library with all kinda death tanks

wasp+smoky

wasp+rail

wasp+....

Hornet+.....

Hunter+.....

This would give different feeling to game. Not only titan+firebird from 19 century.

 

Also we need destroyed road/bridge parts for better looking. It would be great if there were destroyed bridge parts what will give better war feelings.

 

New kinda buildings and stearcases.

 

Some more stuff to play with when making maps. New kinda fences should be fine.

Also like when making underground shortcuts or hiding areas underground i would like to see dirt without grass. Like when you actualy dig it.

 

 

I say new whole update to library!

We need more maps and remove old maps what havent been played even once in month.

Should be more desert, 1 more kinda duel

and put some space maps. Put max gravity what this anticheat supports or disable it on thoose maps.

Hight limit higher than always.

So if someone cheats he gets blocked. Not 1 day of ban.

some of the old maps that do not get played on are actually pretty good with little but unfortunately everyone is too obsessed with poly CP. One way of promoting unused maps is by adding missions to earn exp on those maps, the way they promoted skylark and tribute.

How about a Typhoon map for Unity? No changeable weather or time of day (it will stay in the afternoon) but it will be a tropical area with worn-down buildings and trees shaking. There will be debris strewn through the streets and flying through the air as well as rain and thunder+lightning. The map will be sized to be much larger (in terms of area) than Rio but smaller than Berlin and having more levels than Skyscraper. In simple terms, it will be a very 3-dimensional map.

Since there's no CP in Unity, that maps probably just gonna die out and fade away, like all the other maps people used to like  :P

This map was one of the best maps in the history of Tanki ,But it has become one of unwanted maps because of the addition of the following changes :

The flag can be carried out at the blue only through the tunnel.

 

 

Flag isn't easy to get if you're the blue team someone can easily trap a tank, other then that it's a decent map.

Actualy there are. at least i have it...

Yes, they're however the water have no actual physics or behavior like real water - It's just the texture of flat water which you can easily pass though.

it's possible, just requires effort on the coding.

And a lot of complaints of lag. 

 

My idea was a slowly sinking ship which would tilt or list a bit to one side and then the other. As the water rose, some spawn points would no longer work. A compartment about to be flooded will have an alarm and the people will have 30 seconds to escape or be trapped for 45 seconds until they die or self-destruct. As old areas are flooded, new compartments will open up when the ship makes a sudden list. All general areas are accessible at the start.

 

There should also be a non-sinking version. 

 

Decks (bottom-top):

 

Hold: bottom deck. It has old rusted tanks and a bunch of crates and metal beam supports. It has 2 levels-the bottom level can be seen through holes and areas of the floor covered by mesh and is accessible by ramps. It is under the waterline.  A single ramp leads to the level above. 

 

Engine room: full of boilers and with steam puffing out occasionally, it is a cramped deck with 3 ramps up.

 

Cargo deck: Shipping containers with ramps leading to the top of them and a small gangway up top. Has open center. There are 3 areas, all accessible via narrow ramps and gangways. 5 ramps to go up.

 

Outdoor deck: By far the longest, stretching the full length of the ship. Has a pool in the front, and heli-pad at the back. The walkways are 2.5 Viking lengths wide and have doors that lead to the interior. The interior is mainly an open area with tables, couches, wrecked tanks and corridors as well as doors leading to balconies. There are many windows, both smashed, partly broken and intact. Certain lights may occasionally flicker. 4 doorways out on each side, 2 at the front and 2 at the back. 3 internal ramps up and 4 outside. Internal inspired by staircase of the Titanic.

 

Bar and diner: Completely open area with little cover and fully open doors to full length balconies outside. There are walls dividing sections. 2 ramps inside inspired by stairs. The same ramps that started from the deck below stop both here and go to the deck above. 

 

Observation deck: Only a few lumps as cover. 

 

Bridge (inaccessible): A burning building with black smoke and red blaring lights on top. 

 

There is also a stretch out areas by a crane. It is a platform accessible from 2 gangways. Both flags can be seen from it.

There was a special mode called Space Mode where there were tanks being operated in space I don't see a reason following space mode's logic that you can't drive tanks under water safely, hell people once drove tanks in space in this game so i really don't think you need to be that realistic,

The reason they would die after 45 seconds is not that water would destroy them, it was because they would still be trapped and there would be no way out; it is merely a way to get them out of the compartment.

Just a few more ideas:

 

Docks: A port with tankers and cargo ships which can be driven on. Very large map. Has multiple branches. 

 

Airport: A single runway and bordered by a number of fences. Hangers and planes. The planes can be driven on if they are tilted. They can catch fire but will not take visible damage other than the flames. Trucks and tugs also around. 

 

Hanger: A large hanger with large planes. The aircraft are already damage, some crippled. Fuel trucks are around, lights flicker, fires burn. There are gangways and higher levels but no way out.

On the topic of realism, you can engage tanks  with a shotgun.

So yeah, I guess there's no real problem with a water map.
