Ideas for Maps!

I would rather say Tanki brought back old maps like gallery and platform. Those maps were epic.

Moreover guys, the game has over 70 maps but if u ever enter a server, all you find is:-

1. Arena

2. Combe

3. Hill

4. Island

5. Kunger

6. Noise

7. Polygon

8. Rio

9. Sandbox

10. Stadium

11. Silence

12. Serpuhov

Occasionally also madness and Monte Carlo.

But those are practically the only maps that are used. There are so many maps that have great gameplay to offer but no one ever plays on them for eg.

1. Rift

2. Scope

3. Valley

4. Kohloz

5. Osa

6. Parma

7. Camp

8. Red Alert ( sorry night sisters, that's is you ever read this but red alert isn't exactly smashingly popular)

9. Opposition

10. Aleksandrovsk

11. Station

12. Subway

13. Novel.

But these maps are rarely ever played on because every one is just interested in earning lots of crystals and catching golds at Polygon.

Why should the developers even bother creating new maps when so many maps are unused?!

A map with two separate mountains and the way to get to the other mountain is 3 weak bridges if over weighted that could break and will lead to self destruct. If all the bridges fell they will refresh and will come again ..

Would the bases be built into the mountains?

How much weight would the bridges hold?

One of the bridges should be strong (able to hold a mammoth)

How big would the map be?

Where would the flags be in CTF? Where would the point(s) be in CP?

Need details of the map

not sure about if others realize that in Rio game there is a statue that should be removed due to the fact its breaking tanki rules on religion ..

Christ the Redeemer (statue)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
For other statues with this name, see Christ the Redeemer (disambiguation).
Christ the Redeemer 220px-Cristo_Redentor_-_Rio_de_Janeiro%2                          Seven Wonders of the World July 7, 2007

Christ the Redeemer (Portuguese: Cristo Redentor, standard Brazilian Portuguese: [ˈkɾistu χedẽˈtoɾ], local dialect: [ˈkɾiʃtu ɦedẽˈtoɦ]) is an Art Deco statue of Jesus Christ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, created by French sculptor Paul Landowski and built by the Brazilian engineer Heitor da Silva Costa, in collaboration with the French engineer Albert Caquot. The face was created by the Romanian artist Gheorghe Leonida. The statue is 30 metres (98 ft) tall, not including its 8-metre (26 ft) pedestal, and its arms stretch 28 metres (92 ft) wide.[1][2]

The statue weighs 635 metric tons (625 long, 700 short tons), and is located at the peak of the 700-metre (2,300 ft) Corcovado mountain in the Tijuca Forest National Park overlooking the city of Rio.

A symbol of Christianity across the world, the statue has also become a cultural icon of both Rio de Janeiro and Brazil, and is listed as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.[3] It is made of reinforced concrete and soapstone, and was constructed between 1922 and 1931.[4][5][6]

Ans:1) yes the base will be built in the mountains

Ans:2) 10412 kg double of 2 m3 mammoths

Ans:3) 3 bridges means not all of the team will travel from 1 bridge no need of strong bridge.

Ans:4) By me it will be a double of dusseldorf or as tanki developers may like

Ans:5) ofcource the flags will be in the two basses u need to pass the bridge to capture it and points will also be on the bridges once the bridge break the points will refresh ... not all points will be on the bridge..

This map will be hard to play but will be fun as hell i request tanki developers to add it in tanki online there are some maps that no one plays in can be deleted like gravity ,siege

That's not for religious purposes, that's a landmark in Rio. You pretty much can't have a Rio map without having that there. It's too bad that it's only part of the skybox.  That would be an awesome prop. Also, Rio was made to celebrate the Brazilian community.

i understand that i was here when they first made the map..but if you read the spoiler ..the statue was not only make to symbolize Brazilians but also is a religion peace and if you look into there religion parts most of them are Christians or Catholics

Roman Catholic
The dominant religion of Brazil historically was and still is Christianity. Brazil possesses a richly spiritual society formed from the meeting of the Roman Catholic Church with the religious traditions of African slaves and indigenous people.

Please just chill, it was not put into the game for religious reasons, it was only done to make the map feel more familiar. Also....

WRONG TOPIC

maybe it was not ..but they should have done there research on the items placed into these maps ..before there were issues with players and iraq map and they still never fixed it not to insult players ..this is why and other reasons why they leave.. and we are here to talk about maps anything and everything about them

No, hence the name "Ideas for Maps!", this is a topic where you post your ideas for maps that should be added or that you think would be nice even if not worthy of being in the game. It's not a topic to criticize the developers. Also, they would probably have gotten more criticism if they hadn't added that statue to the skybox. Now can we please just end this useless argument before the mods get angry?

I'm only stating a fact that the maps are in need to be replaced ..and we are chatting about this in f/b and its been a good chat with out insults or fighting..for one this map Iraq map was made for the players and Brazilians also for there players in those areas ..now two parts... one ..why have a mosque in the main section of the square when the Rio statue is off on the hill and no one can hit it with shooting ..but you can with the mosque..second seeing these maps are made for these players then why is there  none  for the British or Americans or other Country s ..this is also another topic that if making a map they should all be egual to all players not just certain ones..( this can also go for the religion part of it too if you wanted to see it from that point of view..)  i'm not fighting ..this issue has been going on for some time ..

OK. Ever wanted to create your own map in a area for creation! Well, I have a plan for this.

My suggestion is a one area in the maps selection called "Custom". The built-in "Custom" area in the map selection is an area where players can create their own map, (only one per player) so that the players can create maps according to their gameplay and turret and hull combination.

The player who creates his map in the "Custom" map selection area can only create 1 map only. This map is available to players but other players cannot modify or delete the "Custom" map created by the player who created it.

The "Custom" map, by default is empty. The players would need to place items such as houses, building, skyscrapers, walls, bridges or other obstacles. Players would also be able to place drop zones for all supply boxes including gold box drop zones too.

The person himself who created the map in the "Custom" map slot can delete or modify the map an infinite amount of times.

Players must be ranked Warrant Officer 1 to unlock all maps including the "Custom" map" for him to play in.

Here is a screenshot that I modified to reflect how the "Custom" map slot would be integrated in Tanki Online:

Custom.png

Properties in "Custom" map slot:

500px_Pic10.png

As you can see in the first screenshot above, the black box with the word "Custom" is the slot where the player will be taken to an editor, place objects such as houses, bridges, walls, drop zones, and then save the map in this "Custom" map slot. Please understand that there is only 1 slot in the "Custom" map area.

This feature is a lot easier for players to use than the Map Editor in Tanki Online. The developers of Tanki Online needs to replace the Map Editor and integrate it in the map selection area in 1 slot for each and every player in Tanki Online to be available as a "Custom" map editor slot.

Your suggestion for this is extremely impractical. Developers are aiming to make the game and its user interface as easy to use as possible, yet here you are suggesting that they add a 3D render menu into the game. Not only that, but I'm pretty sure that all maps need to be uploaded to the server, tested, rebalanced and only then be available for gameplay. The map maker in this game is far more difficult than making custom maps in something like Minecraft, so implementing this into the game is pointless.

When creating maps with the Map editor, can players invite real players in their customized build maps?

That is perform battles in user made maps.

Hi,

What @Adriel.RB referred to above is the ability to send the created map for someone else to plug it in their TTT and view it and test it out.  However you can't have the map become a multiplayer online arena for multiple players to join on it together.  That only happens on tanki servers and with the official maps of the game.  But hey, some maps do eventually make it to the game as an official map :)

there should be barrels that can be destroyed and damage enemy tanks and some new towers that can be destroyed and fall on enemy dealing area damage and cracks on ground that would be better :D
