Ideas for Maps!

I have some things to say about the current map editor, after working on a large map today.

 

It sucks.

I am so happy that Hazel-Rah has agreed with developing the map creator and editor. The good news is that players will be able to play in maps you created and you can invite them to your own custom maps. The bad news is that if players cannot earn crystals, how will players like to battle in those maps? That is unfair. Players must be able to earn crystals and complete their daily missions in your own custom maps.

 

Hazel might be mentioning MMS private battles, where fund and score will be reduced.

The only other option is to completely re-work the map creator to make it easier to use, but that requires hundreds of work hours, meaning that other updates would have to be postponed. 

tbh, please postpone the other "updates' that don't really do anything.

Sandbox, XP/BP format

 

My suggestion is to remove the (house) from the sandbox at least in the format xp / bp, because the house creates an advantage for the blue team, many players complain. And ends up even rolling insult with the person who is there.

Lol, this is true and happens quite often. But then again, it depends on the team you playing with but in general it is well known fact that if used right, it does give advantage to the blue team, yes.

New Map this one is very good I worked hard and the final result is very nice

Sandbox is one of the greatest maps ever! So I will be happy if it the devs made it more balanced by removing the house. I remember the times when Sandbox was an extremely favourite map and it was so common. It is only in pro battles now but when I find a non-drug pro Sandbox battle, it makes me feel good because the druggers annoy me. Something needs to be done with the modules in pro maps because enemies use Ricochet modules every time. Anyway, gameplay in Sandbox is very interesting and this map should be made bigger so it could be added to standard battle list in Matchmaking.

I have an idea for a map that I'm sure would never be considered because it contains elements not included in Tanki maps. However. I present it here only as a point of interest: (I posted this in a different topic under the nickname of @Zomblistic)

 

Occasionally, maps are reworked. Some are obvious, some not. I'm not so sure some weren't tweaked without us knowing about it. (Dev couldn't sleep). 

 

Map: Under Construction

 

Layout:

 

1...Buildings half done. Cement, tarmac, paint still wet.

 

2...Yellow tape across each ramp "Construction do not enter" "Enter at own risk." 

 

3...Piles of rubble lying around. Chunks of cement and bricks strewn all about. Each one an obstacle. Any of them can get a tank stuck. 

 

4...Properties of the props may or may not change. For instance: A large cement brick may have been easy to transverse the first time, but the second time it may either catch on your tank's tracks making you immobile. OR it may have turned into mush, slowing you down or getting you stuck (just spinning the tracks and going nowhere). However, someone can push you to freedom, if they don't mind getting stuck themselves. 

 

5...Wet paint will rub off onto your tank.

 

6...Cement is wet you may sink down becoming immobile, or very sluggish. 

 

7...Because it's a construction site, areas are swampy. Going through these areas at high rate of speed ( speed activated, Wasps and Hornets by default) will splash mud and water on anyone within range, making visibility difficult for a short time. Like at the Swamp Buggy Fests or mud meets. 

 

8...You can go over piles of rubble (broken cement pieces, bricks, broken up tarmac, glass, metal, and pipes) but at your own risk. You may of may not get stuck. It's a draw of luck if you don't get hung up.

 

9...Some buildings are in the process of being torn down and some being built. It's an ongoing project and will change each time. So, the map is constantly changing from one battle to the next. Maybe next time you play the map, a building will be gone and so will the platform it was sitting on. Some changes will be obvious, some not so. You don't know if that cement is still dry or if it was recently replaced. 

 

10...CPs and flag standards are switched around to make room for a new prop or to make room to tear one down. 

 

You never know what will happen in an area that's "Under Construction."

You want to make it so that magnums cannot camp up top. Perhaps some small walls in the middle to contain splash and make mags need to have a direct hit

I think someone should make a map that is anti-magnum or one that would be very difficult for magnum to control the map. Maybe very high walls with doorways or a city full of skyscrapers like Dusseldorf, but much taller buildings. I know there's a map called Skyscrapers, but there isn't enough of them and too much open space. Come on. We need downtown Chicago, New York City....Those types of maps. Put some winding streets in them instead of straight through. 

 

I was in a battle recently that had 4 good magnum users on one team. Game play was nearly impossible. The battle was short lived because the losing team left after they realized the magnums made it almost impossible to attack the other team. I had the feeling that they and someone on our team was on Skype or Discord together. The shots were too well orchestrated.

You can only download 1.100 Props and MMCK Beta 1. Why not any others?
