Ideas for Maps!

No Cover, hard to drive on, campers everywhere. The only game mode where Massacre is remotely fun and not a stalemate is CP. Massacre should be smaller.

It's not flat, there are hills everywhere. <_<

I think what he means is that there is no cover and there is very limited height change throughout the map compared to other maps if you think about it

But if we were to give it more cover and more elevation variety, then we would have to change the name of the map.

Everyone hates massacre.

How can you speak for all the Tanki players? I don't hate Massacre, I like the old (with small hills and less hills) and the new (more hills, increased height on others). I find it very challenging. I'd take Massacre over Polygon any day. I have tactics worked out for invading enemy territory with Vulcan/Titan and Firebird/Viking. But my tactics depends on the aggression of my team. If they are all base camping, then my tactics are suicide missions at best.

Everyone hates massacre.

Massacre is by far my very favorite map.  The only thing that would make it better would be to get rid of the invisible obstacles. Well, and get rid of the new bases that started with MM, but that will never happen.

Not true.  Massacre is the best map in the game.  I wish there were a lot more open area maps like it, but Massacre and Desert are about the only ones.

I just would like to more of a variety of maps in the non-pro battle modes. They are always the few maps over and over. Out of all the maps that been created already seems like admin could switch them around. Getting a little boring :mellow:

Everyone hates massacre.

Someone has lost their mind.

 

It's the ONLY open terrain map that simulates anything near real life long range combat in Tanki.  Lost temple is big, but slightly contrived.  Massacre is a great map,  just wish it was wider and longer still, though wider would be better than longer if you needed to choose one thing to change.

 

(Forgot to mention Berlin, it's a decent large urban map.  The bridges area little on the "Gamey" side, but still, a great map.)

Suggestion: Make MM consider equipment.

 

Please lower the percentage use of Massacre. It is a crap map from concept. Its terrain has hidden barriers. It stops tanks in random locations. I don't mind it for my heavies, but with light tanks, I spend more time spawning than fighting.

 

Massacre for CTF and Rugby is a frustrating map, especially for light hulls. Please greatly reduce the percentage usage of Massacre for CTF and Rugby.

 

More importantly, can't match maker consider equipment?

 

DH.98 is Mosquito. I have Rail and Wasp on that account. No options. It is simply not possible to have a K/D above 0.2 with that configuration in that map. Please, figure out how to not drop Wasps into Massacre, especially Wasp-Rail with no other equipment to choose from.

Massacre is an unfun and frustrating map. No biggie in DM, but bad choice for flags and rugby.

 

Berlin is the best map in the game, but they won't put it in MM. They (Devs and players alike) don't like it in created/pro battles because it is laggy. It is extremely calculation intensive to keep track of all the lines of sight for all the tanks and possibilities on that map. Lags are inevitable. Many players can't tolerate the glitches.

You are what buffers my K/D on a bad day, I never want them to do what you asked.  Massacre is just that, a massacre.  Rolling hills, lots of cover, not a face to face map all the time, but like real shooting combat, you have to worry about getting picked off, as well you should be in a game of armored combat.

Serpuhov's ASL positions must be changed

 

In Serpuhov, the red flags in assault are lined up in the back, in a quite compact spot. Not OK. True story: I spawned in a Serpuhov ASL. The entire enemy team was some extreme noobs, all staying there spawn camping every player. We couldn't get a single flag past the line of houses on the back side. (I forget if it's red or blue side) Like any tanker in their right mind, I left the battle.

 

Some flags should be closer to the middle-left and middle-right of the map, or maybe near the middle of the map. Because the MM system is mushing up lower mid-ranks like me and feeding them to the lieutenants by often placing players with annoying strategies (Drugs, spawn camps, targeting, blah blah blah) on the enemy side, this could often be a problem.

New Night Mode.

 

Who didn't love night mode in Tanki? Like it literally looks so beautiful with stars and Rio look amazing in night mode because of Mountains, So I come up with a another idea that will be awesome. I'm talking about adding a background of Aurora Borealis aka Northern Lights, It'll look really awesome so see Aurora Borelis like it literally looks so beautiful in Real life so basically my idea is to add a new night mode or another new mode of Aurora Borealis, That's all I wanna suggest. Hope it'll complete soon and like by many players ^^

I think they might save something like Auroras for a new year decoration theme/Xmas

Devs MIND graphics and looks. Why do you think they released lots of animated paints and XT skins?

 

They absolutely do not care about game balance, just about graphics.
