Ideas for Maps!

Yes I think adding new ones would be better but I hope they wouldn’t make any lame changes to them like they did to massacre or sandbox.

Yeah - they will add Esplanade - but remove the tunnels...

They sould add DeathTrack & Sklark as-is = NO CHANGES NEEDED.

Unfortunately that's what they would do to that map. They just love forcing these moshpit battles down our throats.

I can see them adding Subway - without any of the subway tunnels.  Just call it Station ... oh wait...

tanki now  have become less strategic than it was, and every map now look like the other, all you want is to attack with some weapons and capture points, maps now does not suitable for shafts and strategies like camping.

in past you know all players in your team and know their weapons and even paints and chat with them now every  game ends so fast and you didn't even realize that you start the game till the game ends immediately

like what I say above the game became less strategically and remove the tunnel to make we all facing others immediately and every map look like the other one in strategies

I would say they may lower the high platform and buldings, since the difference in height levels is too high and some turrets have an unneeded advantage standing on it. Perhaps they can fill the space on the empty surface on the other side of the map, it's rather a shooting range than being an interesting part of the map. Removing the tunnels might happen, as well as blocking entrance to the roof of the small building in the centre.

Overall I really like this map so I do hope they will consider placing it in MM. Other maps that could qualify without being tweaked too much are Subway, Skylark and especially Novel

Those changes would make Esplanade not worth it.

Novel is a decent map.

Another I'd like to see is Scope - haven't played that in a long time.

I do think Esplanade has to undergo some changes, otherwise the map is unbalanced to play on

Scope would be interesting indeed, but won't snipers and other long-range turrets mainly dominate in this map?

Scope is divided into many regions and there's cover and tunnels - would be interesting to see how it would do.

I'm not much of a camper - I use smoky, ricco, isida on one account and freeze, vulcan and gauss (yes a sniper) on another.  Last few times I played I don't think snipers dominated.  But have not played many battles there over past year or so.

Hello everyone, I have been thinking of a suggestion to make buildings drive through able

for exampel: Maps like Espalade or Maps like Subway

but the prolem is that there are very few of them, and they are not very popular
my suggestion is to make houses/buildings bigger, in order to provide a field to drive inside.

also, when you only can climb buildings, you knida feel out of the map.
but your in it,its different.

We kinda already have this with the big hangars on maps like Industrial Zone (which is similar to what you posted), and I think it's enough. If you think about it, most buildings in Tanki are residential and offices, so going inside it with a tank will be impractical and frustrating, mostly due to the camera having no way to show a good view inside, like when you back your tank up against a wall.

That's besides the large amount of additional modelling that the developers would have to do to implement such a trivial and unnecessary feature.

well u could make buildings/tunnels like the ones in the trailer for tanki x .like these tunnels and bridges -

this trailer still gives me the chills .btw totally unrelated but could turre effects like this be implemented in the game?

That — definitely. But that's just an idea for making new maps, not accessing buildings. Having battles inside a massive factory is different from being able to drive inside some apartment building. In fact, we already have those elements on maps like Chernobyl and Industrial zone, although obviously less impressive than in TX due to limitations of the map-making tool.

dou think it'll be possible to make a huge map as shown in the trailer ?maybe jut for special events and pro battles .because a dm in such a map would be freaking awesome

Probably not. Just look at Berlin and Dusseldorf — both are quite large maps but not that huge overall, yet they take ages to load and make everyone crash when filled to capacity. Tanki is quite limited on the size of maps it can support. Also, the gameplay isn't really suited for large maps in the first place.

Something that would really spice up the gameplay is if they added the tank carrier map "Repin" (i think that's what it was called) from TX into TO. Back during the stint I had with TX, the tank carrier map was the only major reason why I played the game (in addition to my cool thunder-prime with lightning shot effects). You see, for those of you who never experienced TX or this map, this map was a tank carrier that was unique. If the player stood on a launch pad, the tank would be shot across to the other side of the enemy map. This opens up huge new opportunities for maps if they incorporated ramped maps that shoot tanks across the map. See picture below for more specific detail.

I really hope that HTML5 will introduce new map-making potential. The good thing about TX is that its maps were made of individual 3D models, rather than a library of 5m x 5m square props assembled on a square grid. Would be nice if TO maps had some curved surfaces and non-linear pathways.

According to many comments on tanki youtube videos, the secret rooms were the best part of tanki online. We miss them. Why dont you bring them on special occassions, please. It makes tanki online more popular and interesting.

To say they were the "best" part of TO is a stretch, but I think it would be nice for the devs to release secret rooms for events on the most obscure maps, with possible rewards for reaching the room.
