This is ideally a team battle map so nothing new, it would seem. Also, the little tunnel is redundant because during CTF, the teams could hog flags in there for the duration of a battle. And, that would not leave any satisfying gameplay. Tunnels should relatively be connected by two teams in order to make an equilibrium for battles and on maps themselves.

As my last map was pretty big, I decided to make a smaller version of it, but not now.

 

However, here's my new map: Digsite

 

26x26, 33x33 including the grass & tunnels

Tanki Online really should improve the reality of all the maps. They aren't realistic and they just look like blocks piled on each other (like minecraft in the worst case).

 

Also, Tanki Online should indetify the maps to their names. For example:

Berlin is a good name/idea, but all the houses, rocks, hills, colors and more, are exactly the same as in other maps. Only the structure is different.

 

I played World of Tanks for a while (but I quit), you can look at their maps (they are very beatiful and realistic).

i suggest to creat maps with some traps, like firebird or freeze in the wall, like machanism who would activate some dangerous traps

:c I know, It was my first ever map, so they were many mistakes in it.

Brand new policy has been introduced that is for YOU mostly.

-Different rankings have been established within the club; "Cartographer" (candidate), Card Creator (amateur), and Map Maker (expert).

-The works of Map Makers will be kept in our personal vaults and not on the forum until further notice. When Unity is closer, the vaults will start to creep open.

-We are accepting applications as always, but also recruiting by sending private messages to players that have shown an interest by posting a map. They will be invited in as Cartographers where they will do a number of tasks to improve their skill as an editor and innovator.

I was interested in making maps.

(I used to make private maps for warcraft 3 and Red Alert a long time ago)

I downloaded the software I found in a RU forum but couldn't make it work.

I thought that it was obsolete and the Russians weren't interested in updating it.

 

Can I find properly working software to give it a second try?

As far as I know, that is the case, they're not interested in updating the Editor when they'll (and hopefully we'll) probably use the Unity editor later.

 

The MMCKit on the front page should have everything in working order. You have to instal adobe AIR in order to instal AlternativaEditor. All the libraries are there in individual folders and the one labeled "Server" is all the libraries in one with the most up to date versions of the props we have. The software works on Windows OS only.

Well, Tanki can't really make maps like WoT at the moment because the way To makes maps is, essentially, stacking blocks. But have you seen the previews for Unity? They look much more realistic :D

It was the quality the developers dreamt about, when they started to create Unity.

That map is already in the game (Island).

Rain, thunders or storms probably will be avaliable in the Unity update.
