Ideas for Maps!

Can't we make a map suited for each turret.

Like for Ricochet there could be a maze in which you could use the ricocheting effect to its maximum potential.

For shaft there could be map where there are loads of hidden sniping spots and sniper towers.

There doesn't need to be a a specific map for each turret- for example it would be hard to think of a good idea for turrets like Firebird, Freeze and Isida.

For fire? Easy! 20mx20m map for 80 players!

Why not add tiny tanks?

Well, not tiny tanks, but why not a map where everything is HUGE. Say an office desk with scattered papers, ot as a flat image, but to make little hills, and underpasseges/tunnels, etc. Say a long eraser leading down into an open drawer with other clutter in it. It'd be fun in my opinion!

Not really possible at the moment due to the fact that large maps take too long to load and will lag a lot.

I dont mean maps of a large size, I mean where normal everyday items would replace buildings and ramps and stuff xD Like a milk carton would be the size of a building for example

But then the map won't even be the size of a room. A single table at most.

 

Anyway, it's a good idea but won't be implemented for a long time since doing this will require the TO artists to create a whole new collection of textures, rather than just assemble a new map from the existing ones.

Twisted Metal III had a map like this. In TM you drive a car equipped with missiles and machine guns etc and blow up other cars. This TM3 map was of a kid's bedroom with furniture and scattered kid's toys a good amount of Hot Wheels track forming ramps and jumps and whatnot.  :)

I make this map recently, but i don't know which name to choose it was called Pollution / Contamination, but Yisroel.Rabin choose to name it "Destiny"

 

By the way, the map theme i decided to be in Night mode, by adding effects to the video

The map is 6 vs 6 players (12 in total)

I accept any opinions ;)

 

Looks fantastic! ... wonder how it'd play. There's one high spot (roof) that might dominate the map. Looks like it could acommodate more than a6x6...  Very cool you did htis.

Adriel im making map from multiple structures put together and i want to ask you.. Is it good that my map is 70x70 props and 1 of buildings file size is 1.37 MB?

Its the same think, MDK is TTT, but programmed to change maps and stuff easily
