I don't think that would be possible, since there's a lot of "earth" maps and Space is just space mode, so nothing new in it

And It looks like that there won't be a lot of out-of-earth maps, since the developers has told us that they won't be adding new maps (Expect modified versions of the current maps)

Por favor Adriel can you make a mars map?

I was thinking that all you need is the space skybox and use the same props as in the massacre map. Then film with a red filter (or black and white). The bombs craters do looks like meteors craters :) and use the Gagarin's Mount paint of the tanks.

Something like that.

Maps that you can interact with.

Would be awesome. In Tanki X I love running over the signs. But given the player density in TO maps destructible objects would be a one-time thing.

Remove the center tunnel of polygon. It's too much of a game changer especially in polygon cp, and even more so with isida trains as they well just hide down there.

I don't know about that. With the addition of Magnum I think it's not a problem when people camp in that hole. Even a bunch of Isidas are not that hard to smoke out of there.

Maybe not much of a problem for magnum, but for the rest of the turrets it's pretty annoying.

Were you envisioning this?

Agreed. Besides, Magnum players don't play on Polygon too often because it's generally a short-range battle.

What are those crates underneath the ramp in the first picture? Secret area?

There's Thunder, Ricochet, Striker, Firebird, Freeze... All these are pretty good for attacking the tunnel dwellers.

Isidas can heal as much hp as a freeze or firebird can damage. And plus, many would have fire protection.

I think you're right, but I'm afraid you're a minority here. Lots of players love that hole in the middle and would rage if it was removed. So I doubt it will happen.

The area where the crates are is a old secret room, as I am working with a older version of Polygon. Sadly, the room isn't in the game anymore.  :(

So, while mixing and matching libraries, I came upon the issue of the xml files when loading the testing tool expecting a certain set of libraries to be present. Looking into my sub-libraries, inn the objects folders, I saw the TARA Builer, and I can only imagine it is used to compile and update the xml. So my question is, how do I go bout using this file to create libraries that can be read by the testing tool? Also, Are there any "gotchas" when updating the xml once the libraries are built?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I think you are supposed to use AlternativaEditor to create TARA files. Otherwise this is something I'd like to know too.

AE doesn't make .TARA files, only maps.

So just XML? What function do .TARA files serve?

Tara files are used by TTT/MDK to get the needed libraries for whatever map you have loaded.

Every battle takes place in a map. Sometimes you just can't find the map you want. so why not give players the ability to express their creativity and style of playing by allowing them to create a map!

There should be somewhere in the game or website where players can create a map according to their style of playing. The format of this program should have the options to insert roads, houses, billboards, barriers, trees, walls, ramps, etc.Flags and Control Points must be added. like everything else, the map will have to be approved by a  moderator. Players can name the map, or leave that to the editors.

Well, the Tara files are part and parcel to theTTT, not the AE. I can do libraries all day long with AE, build maps, all that, it just fails when you try to load them in the TTT.

Use the tools provided within the topic; there is a whole community of players creating maps for private local use.

On the other hand it is not acceptable to let players create their maps and have them play them in public with other players, while earning xp and crystals, as this opens the doors for power leveling.

WHOA!

Let me reiterate that . . . . ahem . . .

WOAH!!!

Did you just say there are ways to create private local maps for use in battles that are among closed groups?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

You can take these custom maps and play them with PEOPLE??????

Dude, I've been wishing I could do that in private for a long time!  Even if it's just for kicks.  How exactly is this done then?  Make a map and then what?  How do you play them, much less with others?

This is huge, I've never, EVER, heard of such a thing.  Please, tell me how you do this, seriously, I have quite a few maps I'd LOVE to try out, even if just for kicks.
