Ideas for Maps!

Did you just say there are ways to create private local maps for use in battles that are among closed groups?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

 

You can take these custom maps and play them with PEOPLE??????

Well, the Tara files are part and parcel to theTTT, not the AE. I can do libraries all day long with AE, build maps, all that, it just fails when you try to load them in the TTT.

.Tara files are the "libary" files for TTT. So if you use a library, you will need its .tara file so it can work with TTT/mdk

Use the tools provided within the topic; there is a whole community of players creating maps for private local use.

On the other hand it is not acceptable to let players create their maps and have them play them in public with other players, while earning xp and crystals, as this opens the doors for power leveling.

Can you give me a link to the community?

I will come up with a map called 'Hexagon'

 

114 props

 

50 GB drop zones

45 Supply drop zones

Fits 26 tankers (13 v 13)

 

Hexagonal shape

Available in Winter and Summer

 

Available from Private

 

Available in DM, TDM, CTF and CP

4 points

 

Red CTF base on a very high prop (only accessible with a ramp)

Blue CTF base on one of the same props (this map is vertically symmetrical)

 

3 points on the Red/Blue CTF bases and in the center of the map

 

Coming soon  ;)

WARNING: Do not hack on the map (if it makes it through) or you could spend a 6 month ban from the game (at the Administration's Discretion) :ph34r:

Hexagon (relevant to Polygon, Industrial Zone and Sandal) will be my dream map.
50 GB zones and 40 Supply box dropping zones

Erm... the Devs stopped accepting maps from players a long time ago.

can you replay some old maps like the one that was a pyramid/ ziggurat i loved that map a one off holiday special, or crash and that map that had parcore rails and jumps and those 8 legs for you to balance up over the top of the battle field like an octopuss

Here's my map which I just created yesterday in 3 hours. I was learning from scratch as I was going along, started on the map as soon as I downloaded the application. I call it "Shortcut" as it is the only map in the game where there are gaps along the tunnel so players can camp in their base (sort of like Parma) and take shortcuts in and out rather than getting in from one end of the tunnel and getting out the other. Also there's a huge bridge in the middle allowing a player to easily escape from one base to the other and capture the flag. Some of my friends say it looks like a mix between Short bridge and Cross but I don't see it. The terrain of the map is random, I didn't have many different terrains to work with.

I always edit the map whenever I find a way to improve it which I am struggling to do now, any sort of feedback would be helpful.

I'm not sure where to post this so I'm sticking it here...

 

How about we see a texture that's a mirror, and its possible to use energy based weapons at reflections in the mirror.  Just a thought.

You can do that? Hmmm honestly didn't know that, or are you just trying to tell me I posted this in the wrong place?   I don't know about Rico losing its purpose. Obviously you wouldn't put mirrors everywhere. Anyway...Just an Idea

Found it, have it, trying to compile my own library sets.  How do you use it.  I tried to execute it by double clicking while in the library folder and got a big fat squat all nothing.

 

So how do you use the TaraBuilder?

I was thinking of a new map for tanki that was kind of like the 2016 christmas one. In both enemy territories there are castles. But then there are hidden traps as u try to take the flag. (BTW I think this should only be for CTF) So both teams have castles and there are towers for those who love sniping but make them still visible so that others can shoot them. And then have a special feature where when the game is over, and this is only if a team wins, they should have their castle light up or something. And about the traps, well u guys can decide.

Hi!

In last MMS test, i didnt like to play in customly these maps, but mostly i liked these updated maps and new ones.

 

I suggest that developers could make a 2 days test with these maps, fix bugs and lags in maps like "Osa".

 

So we can try to play in new maps with different game modes and weather modes in PRO/NORMAL battles.

 

 

I suggest it because i love these maps and i like that developers should make implement them!

There should be a map called trenches with a huge open area, and each team would have a trench to hide in which tanks could climb out of. Each team would also have a tunnel to an underground open area with tons of walls to hide behind. Great for XP/BP (or even XC)
