Exhaust gasses!

I want them so bad... black smoke when the tank changes gears.

Due to bigger engine in mammoth; it blows out more smoke.

Wasp has the smallest amount of smoke.

It fits with the sound; you can clearly hear an engine switching gears... A big blow of smoke would look awesome.

When the tank is stationary; (nearly) visible white smoke should come out of the exhausts.

It's just that some hulls don't seem to have an exhaust at all; all of this I stated should'nt be to hard to implent.

When nitro is enabled; a blue flame should shot out of the exhaust when picking up speed, once the max speed is reached; the flame will become orange.

And the sound the engine makes should be affected when you've nitro enabled... like a whistling Turbocharger.

Imagine how cool it would be if; for example; the mammoth has 2 exhausts on the side and it comes after you... The mammoth will frighten it's prey, it will give the enemy palpitations.

Black smoke... roaring engine and the smell of Diesel in the air... Pure power.

This is a perfect example for the timed smoke... as soon as you hit the gas, the smoke will blow out of the engine.

Engines from big to small (I'ts guessed; please correct me if I'm wrong)

Wasp

Hornet

Hunter

Viking

Dictator

Titan

Mammoth

This means that wasp should have the least amount of black smoke when changing gears, and the least amount of white smoke; when stationary.

And mammoth would have the most amount of black smoke when changing gears and the most amount of white smoke when stationary.

Damage to a tank will not affect the amount of smoke nor nitro flames.

All nitro flames will have the same dimensions regardlesss of the hull...

Feedback is really appreciated; I know I've been stated it before... but didn't exactly ''made'' that statement.

Stay on topic as much as possible.

Let's discuss...

Thanks ^_^

Newsflash: Tanks in tanki run on electric power...lol

But maybe, if there's an option to toggle it on/off.

Also it'd be nice to have tanks emit smoke when damaged(as an hp indicator):

Light damage(>3/4 total hp): white smoke

Moderate damage(>1/2, <3/4 total hp): gray smoke

Heavy damage(>1/4, <1/2 total hp): black smoke

Critical damage(<1/4 total hp): flame particles with dense black smoke

^Yup, my FPS is a disaster already. But it sure would look nice, they could implement it the same way as dynamic shadow, fog etc.

I'm not so sure about the flame honestly... It's not a race game.

Smoke would add a lot of fun (smoke granades!) but I suspect the lag would kill everything...

I'm not so sure about the flame honestly... It's not a race game.

+1

But since i use firefix, i have o lag. Probally thevreason is that. Dont use fog, dynamic shadows... Because i dont have them in my "gear" section, i can only put on advanced FPS, mip-mapping, skybox, FPS, battlechat, and that is all. I dont understand why?

Thanks, so do I ^_^ ... it should really be possible in future.

When a a firebird spits out flames it doesn't cause lag... should the smoke cause lag then?

I mean that the smoke from the tanks is much smaller than the firebird flames, and take less detail.

Not a bad Idea but it would add on to the lag problem for low end Computers and internet connections.

Then they should change this game from browser flash game to download game
