TANKI - atrocious customer service

Recommended Posts

Click TANKI link:

Server error.

After changing server number:

New user login only (cannot log in).

Manually deleting the 'tutorial=true/false' in the address bar get's me to a good log-in screen.

Why am I paying all this money for this rubbish?

And before some mod tells me for the 2 thousandth time that developers are 'working on it' - when is TANKI going to get some developers that actually ACHIEVE something? I'm sick of hearing about devs 'working on it'.

Hackers, glitches, spinning tanks, losing crystals - all have been happening for years and 'devs are working on it'.

I think that 2 years is quite enough time for devs to start delivering or mods to stop being foolish enough to think that TANKI customers are dimwits.

Can we agree on this TANKI?

Red

Read, you technically have no right to complain about this, since by playing Tanki you agree to it and it states:

1.8. Entitlement for use of Game is given on the conditions “AS IS”. Owner doesn't give any guarantees concerning unerring, uninterrupted, contiguous work of Game, conformity of Game to the requirements and the expectations of User. Owner doesn't bear responsibility for any direct or indirect damage due to using or impossibility of use of Game, and also doesn't give any other guarantees which is not specified (fixed) in Agreement.

If you don't like it, leave, I'm sure the devs won't miss you.

Holy cow.

You guys (mods) seriously have the worst attitude I have come across in a forum in a very long time.

The reason these sorts of complaints are constantly coming up is because your customers are frustrated.

Your customers are frustrated because you have the foundation of a great game, but constant issues and bugs.

And your method of dealing with this is a complete lack of empathy.

Just to let you know, those people aren't 'our customers', because we (Consultants/Moderators) do not work for Tanki. We're just volunteers.

Yes, Tanki has bugs. And they are being fixed, no matter what you see/think about it.

And read what the other Consultant said.

When you registered in the game, you agreed to the EULA.

The EULA says that Owner doesn't give any guarantees concerning unerring, uninterrupted, contiguous work of Game, conformity of Game to the requirements and the expectations of User.

You agreed to that^ when you registered. So you have no right to complain. If you want, simply leave.

Why am I paying all this money for this rubbish?

Someone obliged you to do it?

I lagged out of a huge battle last night after 2+ hours. I had a good score and the battle fund was over 2500 with an hour left to go in the battle. My team had a 59 flag lead too. I sent a message to Customer Service expecting nothing, like the last time it happened. To my surprise they took care of it, giving me what I believe is a very fair amount of crystals.

Lag and loading times are greatly reduced, and Customer Service was helpful and quick to respond. Are there still a lot of issues? Of course, but I believe they are trying to make things better.

I was a bit harsh in my email to Customer Service. I apologize for that, it was uncalled for.

I agree with Red.

Its been like 'devs are working on this' for the whole year i've played on here.

Lags still occur, hackers still exist, i don't mind the glitches, they are fun xDD

When are you actually going to do something about this?

No, its an old saying, Russell Howard must of got it from somewhere. May I remind you all of the complaints section rules, you are not allowed to post unless you are invloved in the complaint in the OP of the topic.

The devs spent much of 2012 fighting hackers, had there been no hackers, we would have got a lot more updates. So they were trying to do 2 things at once, hence the 'working on it'

1.10. All payments made by User are voluntary, definitive and non-recoverable.

You choose to pay. And if you know so much of how to solve the problems, please, go to Perm and solve them.

This game is free to play (thank you, Tanki). If you spend money, it is of your own choosing. Many players have played for years without spending a single cent.

Yes, I have read the EULA. Before starting to use a game site, I read the EULA word for word. If I agree, I hit the "I agree" button, If I don't agree, then I don't hit the button and leave (which I have done on occasion).

I agree with Lhamster. If you don't like the way the game is, then you have the purogative to either stay or leave, It's your choice. I am glad the Developers are trying to make this a better gaming experience, it isn't easy. They are having to rewrite the entire gaming program in English to try to accomodate us better, which is no easy task. I say, give them credit where credit is due. (Thank you Tanki for all of your conserted efforts).

Still on the other hand, you have a right to complain and vent your frustration, that's what the Complaint section is for. Some game sites don't have a forum nor any place to vent. If you have a problem with a game, you have to contact the Developer(s) by email and hope they read and respond.

I've used the Complaint section, on occasion, because of what I thought was unfair game play, respawning as a Ghost Tank, spinning tanks, etc. The only time I have lost crystals was when there was a "Server Update." Any other time, I reload and I'm right back into the game without loss of anything. Earlier today, twice I was disconnected and was sent back to the log-in page. I typed in my pass, hit "Play" and was sent directly back into the game without losing anything, but a few seconds.

I have read the EULA, I have agreed to it and I'm in for the long haul.

What can I say, If I'm ever a bit bored log onto Tanki forum and I'm bound to get a laugh. For a tread titled "Atrocious Customer Service" you expect the reps from the game to apologetic, concerned, etc. At the very least civil. But not on Tanki on line, lol.

The thing is the "developers" are employees, who in order to get paid at the end of the week need the company they work for to make money - from us, the players. So while unpaid mod's continue to be rude, dismissive, etc to those that do raise valid concerns re the product they have purchased (Tanki is a product - it wasn't made for the fun of it.) they are losing paying customers, thus revenue. So less cash for game development & wages for the developers and profits for those who actually own the game. Somebody At Tanki Head office really needs to take control of public relations on this Forum.

Those 'paying customers' agreed and accepted the EULA when they registered.

Now they have no right to complain about something that they agreed and accepted.

If those 'paying customers' think that we were rude because we just explained the EULA - it's their own problem.
