I think the best opponent for Hornet is Shaft, no matter what weapon the player is using.

 

That's idea for Silence map. Drugged M1 Shaft can kill almost all drugged M2 hornets. Drugged M2 Shaft can kill almost all drugged M3 hornets, M3 hunters, M1 titan, M1 viking and nearly all un-drugged mammoths. That is why Shaft is still the favorite weapon for many players

lets say, both are using the same tanks. certainly, who has m3 rico, wont be using a m0 wasp for sure ;)

I believe freeze has a higher damage rate per second than firebird
