Ok sure, but what about the rest of the turrets?

Id have Freezeing experince with them

With Thunder, Dead for sure , Smoky depends on situation ,and Rail if lucky can get a shot if he act fast before fully frozen , but after 35% freeing no hope , Shaft is death for sure in scope ,fagnum same as Shaft , close range btw fire freeze depends on who start first and based on HP , but if he aims for turret dead for sure

Rico&Twins have nice turret rotation speed even if your hulls is froze you can get them 

You definitely have to rapidly start turning the hull and turret asap to have any hope when facing a freeze w/o protection for it

But Rico & Twin's is more easy on the case , that is what i have observed even if my hull is frozen i can turn my rico and kill them

I've gotten in the habit of hitting a double speed as soon as I see a freeze approaching. It helps as well...

+ , if you are not a rico/twins , 

For me ,  m a rico user most time now , so id need a SB

Hey guys I wanna ask is M2 worth buying? I mean I consider buying either Ram, Minotaur, Guard, Jam, Fortress or Simoom kit (Annihilator beoing too expensive for me - 50k+ for nothing more). So what to buy - a kit with Twins M2 or Thunder M2? Thanks in advance.

There is an epidemic of Thunder-Vikings in this game.

indeed , they increased quite a lot after the buff

 

after the buff I tried my thunder and it's a monster (M3) , the splash radius is just huge and the firing speed is slightly faster

 

I might just get back to it when I reach marshal !

I don't think the splash radius is an upgradeable parameter.

hmm

Twins is OP , the protections dont bother it much as it bother's other turrets

Thunder is also good it just got a buff , it is a versatile turret , and the protection aginst it is so common

 

i will say get which one do you feel good when playing with it

yes but they buffed it , it's really big now

Previously M3 thunder sucked because of all the protection...not, its...well still faces a lot of protection

Well that's what protection does right?

 

People who wear shaft protection negate it's one-shot-kills on medium hulls.  And so on...

 

Devs should not configure turret power based on frequency of modules encountered.

1) with flex-modules anyone can equip any module now

2) anyone not equipping that particular module will be overwhelmed.

3) could actually back-fire and encourage even more people to equip (thunder) module. Irony is the best.

it differs from a battle to another,  I've been in legend battles with no thunder protections , and I've been in captain battles with 35 protections all over the place

Those captain players with thunder protections are usually legends on a second account.

I'm playing against thunders whilst using 45% protection and I would say thunder hurts a lot (especially if M4 of course). I counter it by getting up close so they absorb their own splash damage but you gotta do it from the side incase they pop a mine...

It should never have gotten a buff no matter how slight it was, because since then, I've been in battles that were chalk full of 25 to 40 % protections against thunder.

That'd be a rational decision lol, the place is full of Thunders and they deal so much damage when you don't have protection against it.

At this rank if the enemy team has at least 2 thunders that drug a lot, they automatically win.

Not at your rank even after m3 kit unlock rank it is still the case
