Railgun Scout?

really need a real nerf, OP augment

How I can kill the juggernaut with those annoying Scout Railgun, High Impact force with high damage... most annoying when you with Shaft... and even without the shaft they can ruin your move and makes you colliding with the wall

leterally I left the game after end the record immediately...

For Gauss I made a compilation with moments from various games... but with the scout I think one video is enough to approve

I know I talked about a lot of OPs but really Scout is annoying+OP

I was thinking of getting LCR soon, but I just tried the Scout augment (on the Test server) and it seems to be way better. LCR suffers a lot from the Rail protection everybody wears, while with Scout you can just spam shots left and right and be extremely more dynamic and flexible. 

 

What do you guys think, what would you get between LCR and Scout? (I am talking about a M4 Rail btw)

Well, Scout will get nerfed in someway. But, LCR is still good to tackle Falcon modules despite of suffering from the respective module.

It just need impact force nerf that's all.

Stock Railgun is UP...

LCR is very strong and powerful with Hornet OD... without hornet OD, its not that strong, cuz the long reload time and a lot of protections

Scout (OP)

Btw, Hornet will get nerfed so this will impact directly to LCR... and Scout will get nerfed

I have scout rail on a Legend account and it is not OP with all those 40+% protections walking around LOL

Protections aren't a thing to neglect the OP turret. Btw, its impact force too high it need a real nerf

I don't know, but as we accustomed for every OP turret to get nerfed as Firebird one day, and Ricochet and Freeze (they all one day were OPs)

And in this year RFM shaft get nerfed, and vulcan get nerfed... So it's not hard to expect that hornet will get nerfed like others

Though in this year I see the OPs are more often than the years before, and some of them took a lot of time before get nerfed

Vulcan incendiary-band takes some months before nerfing and even after the nerf it still OP, and it comes more OP with heat immunity.

Shaft RFM get a fast nerf, didn't took a lot of time like others

Hornet until now No a real nerf

Gauss until now No a real nerf

I don't remember everything but one day it was more OP maybe in 2015/2016, especially M2. But after that it get a nerf, maybe until now it's strong but that is the game and the balance changing always.

I don't know about that. The other day I tested M4 Rail with Scout and even with 50% prots everywhere I wrecked people left and right without much problems.

I feel like Scout is more suited for dynamic players and for an aggressive playstyle, while LCR is more for peekaboo shooting and for providing support from the back.

 

Also, I am noticing that most 9999GS Legends that play really well all use Scout... that must mean a thing or two.

Scout shouldn't be able to one-shot light hulls with that firing rate. Everything is weak against Defender; that's just how it is. 

 

I used to see much more LCRs than Scouts. After Scout's damage buff, I've been seeing much more Scouts than LCRs. It doesn't help that it's the most popular turret in the game. If you ask me, it can keep the impact force but that damage buff needs to be reverted. Maybe my opinion on the augment will change when Hornet gets nerfed. I doubt since it's not only Hornet that I see it being used on.

I played with some of the armour-piercing augments and by god Railgun's armour-piercing augment needs to be nerfed before release. If it stays the way it is currently, it'll hurt to go against many of those in the enemy team.

I completely agree. It is honestly baffling that all long-range turrets received AP augments while only some short and mid range turrets did. Any sort of protection removal mechanics disproportionately favor high-damage turrets, because they open up the possibility for one-shots. Railgun/Magnum/Gauss Hornet are already very popular and very powerful combos; I'm not sure why they should be buffed further.

I really don't know what you talked about, but I can assume that no Augment will be more ridiculously OP than Scout.

EDIT: before I go to test server and test it, the description laughed me

I can say for sure that this will compete with Scout and LCR for viability. The armour piercing augment ignores DA, so if the enemy has both DA and 50% protection, the armour piercing augment should kill faster. But if they just have a protection module, it might take longer. 

 

I can't remember if the armour pierce peirces modules as well. Not many players were using protection modules against the turrets I was using so I couldn't see for sure. If it does pierce modules as well, then this would be better than Scout or LCR in 1 v 1s against an enemy with both DA and protection module.

Special Augment for Railgun which works 100% of the time, another supply removal with no need of the Hornet Overdrive ?

It's hard to estimate it's practically because in the test server you use Mk8 Railgun so you didn't remember the shots damage exactly like in your real account.

Oh, I thought it just work when piercing more than one tank, but as you say it work even in 1v1 so as I see it will be without any doubt OP.

Still have no idea what you are discussing.  All I see is a description inside a gray box.

Is this a "test" augment on test servers?
