It's just a huge amount of health. You deal full damage to them.

Does Hunter have any effect on JUG besides the 2.2 second stun?

It can with DD, but the Juggernaut would kill the Ricochet long before that happens. 

 

Only thing the EMP does to the Juggernaut is stun it and stop whatever reloading/acquisition/charge up the Terminator us doing. If the Juggernaut is going up against multiple enemies, it's very unfortunate to be stunned while you're charging up the Railgun of your Terminator. It leaves you defense less for a good number of seconds.

So Hunter is less useful for killing JUG then compared to other ODs...

Maybe.ive seen lots of people use dictators and theyre really annoying .if its too slow maybe use a speed boost

Viking's Overdrive is the most potent in that mode. Viking has sustained high damage throughout 7 seconds, enough to end the Juggernaut quickly if it has no protection module from the turret. 

Hunter is potent when used with a Booster Drone, or with Cyclone Striker to keep the Juggernaut still for the majority of the acquisition. It relies on something that can capitalise on the Juggernaut being stunned for those 2.7 seconds. It means it'll need high damage and it'll need it fast, which is where Booster and Cyclone Striker fit in best.

Sorry, but I'll have to disagree there. Hunter, Booster, and Plasmatorch are extremely efficient in taking a big chunk out of their health. Each bullet can deal a 1000 damage while Booster is active, and if you can somehow unload all of your ammo into that Jug, that should either severely damage the Jug or even kill him. It's also much easier to earn an EMP than a 7-second berserk mode.

I plan on buying the MFS alteration, so is viking the better option?

I am at third lieutenant, and i have mk3-6 viking, even though i can unlock mk4.

i have mk4-2 hunter, and mk2-2 dictator. 

During cosmonautics day, I plan on finishing mu my viking to mk4, buying ricochet mk 3 and 4, as well as the MFS alteration.

Or instead, should i just mu my hunter, or buy mk3 and 4 for dictator?

Don't buy another medium hull.  3 is way too many for your rank.  You are better off sticking with 1 (max 2) medium hulls and getting better modules.

I just started this acc, and I would like to know if ricochet-dictator is a good combo in later ranks. I am not a buyer, so I plan to sticking to one or two combos.  (This is my third acc, and my highest is 2nd lieutenant so I dont have that much experience in higher ranks).

Dictator-Ricochet is an amazing combo, although you will most likely need the Minus-field Stabilization augment in order to see the best results. It's very fun and very powerful, especially once you get it upgraded.

Could you please explain why doubling the projectile speed and range works the best with Dictator-Ricochet? Thank you!

You come in opportune because I mainly play with Dictator and Hornet, and since I have a Ricochet I was wondering if any of it's alterations were worthy of getting.

MFS is the best alt imo. Others aren’t that effective and stock is better than them.

I bought berzerk and it is great. I'd say it is an upgrade over stock. I never run out off ammo anymore. Although I still think MFS is much better at long range maps.

So, I tested both Twins and Ricochet. My reviews are that both are equally good in short range. I didn't get to test with all hulls. But I did test with Hunter, Viking, Wasp and Hornet. Many people have a notion that Rico is better than Twins. But in reality both are equally good. Twins might require a bit more skill, but Rico requires nearly equal skill to properly make use of the bounce effect. If not more. I'll post this on Rico's discussion too.

 

Best Ricochet alt IMO: MFS or Berserk. There's no argument on this. Both are equally great. One makes Rico the old Rico, the other makes it great at close range.

i like stock rico more cause it is actually really good . Since the ricochet effect is not reduced at all . you can kill enemies relatively faster with rico nowadays . i might get adrenaline for it!

On smaller boards there is no doubt the stock is best...faster fire rate=quicker kills. On larger and many medium maps, the mfs is hard to be due to ease of aiming and ability to hit tanks from much further away.

I started an alt account and have focused on rico (with MFS) and viking...I am consistently killing Jgr in battles with OD...add DD and it is fairly easy at my rank. Highly recommend using it in that battle mode since you are not limited to direct line of sight.
