Shaft is still good, but must be used to guard narrow openings.

Also must have a good camping spot.

Shaft isn't made for deathmatches...

wrong,you can choose the amount of power and that is very usefull!!

at low levels,if is in a master hands and at high too,you can be very good,only the player counts!

Shaft is good in every mode, in my opionion especially in CTF because it can stop the flag stealer.

I usually like letting the opponent take the flag first and then I kill him right after, thus giving me 20 XP instead of 10  :)

Gaining xp isn't priority, its gaining score in a battle :) Although I guess it's the exact same thing... Anyway, when I use shaft I tend to let medium or heavy hulls past my scope if I don't think I can kill them in 1 shot :P Just keep waiting for those 1-shot-kill hulls

I would actually go as far as to say - even if every opponent you faced had a lighter hull, you still didn't do it

 

With that circumstance, you can get relatively close but not 82 kills; no way.

Shaft is awesome! The scope really gives you an advantage, and you can get guys unexpectedly. It is also powerful

Knowing the hulls' hps+the protective paint the opponent is using helps a lot. For example, an M1 viking, I know all it takes is a full shot from my M1 shaft plus an unscoped shot. But if he has a shaft protective paint, after my full first shot, on my 2nd one I simply hold it until it reaches max half power and then release the shot...BOOM, kill! Knowing your opponent from "head to toe" really helps on your survival ;)

Is m2 shaft worth getting at my level? I would only buy it at a big sale.
