I got m2 shaft today. It's a really good gun. If you're saving for it, get it ASAP. It is such a good gun. You can 1 shot just about everything.

Right now my only hulls are hornet m2 and Viking m1 with shaft, but with time I will use Viking m2 or mammy m2. I play silence, serpuhov, and stadium so far in shaft. Polygons are good as well

Ah, but that's the thing. Just wait until he's been damaged by anything, and then shoot. Even 1 smoky m1 shot is enough to kill a Viking m2. I believe a smoky m1 does 28 damage. 220-28=192. Your damage is more or less 195. Instant 1 shot. Mammoth m2 is a lot harder to judge, you just have to wait about 3-4 seconds. You can finally one shot those pesky m2 dictators... (Granted they have no shaft protection) m2 Titan isn't until colonel, so if you get shaft at major, feel free to put those Titan m1's to shame. :D m2 hunter is still a 1 shot kill. So generally it can 1 shot almost everything for now. But you must wait until they are damaged. In others words, kill steal them. ;)

Thunder M1 because it is the latest M1 unlocked and it is VERY powerful. Can be strong even against Majors...

Depends on playstyle. IMO, shaft is a good choice if you're a good sniper. If you're a good all arounder or someone who is good at midfield, choose thunder. If rails annoy you, choose tundra.

Hello all.

 

I bit the bullet & bought some crystals.  Just too impatient to collect/earn them via my 1-2 hrs of playtime each day.

 

Bought the turret & hull M1 kits.  Mega-savings vs buying them 1 at a time.  Plus it gives you plenty of play-style options with the variety at your disposal.

 

Been playing Highland & Sepurhov with M1 Shaft & Titan and LOVING IT !!! :wub:

 

Previously had been playing Firebird/Freeze with Hornet.  It was fun mixing it up on the front lines, but got a bit repetetive after a while.  Plus getting one-hit by rails & other turrets was very frustrating.

 

Now with my shaft, I'm the one doing the one-hitters!  I'm actually chuckling to myself with every kill shot.  It's great when you catch guys flying up ramps in mid-air with light hulls and release the trigger.  KA-BLOOEY!!! :ph34r:

 

When in Sniper-mode, mines are your friends (to cover your backside)!  Also nice to have an Isida teammate come visit you every now & again...  Or have a railer nearby, as you have blinders on looking through the scope, so you don't see enemies approaching.

I love shaft i ask a player to get me up that place in silence u know on top of the flag 2 inches away so yea i sit there and hunt them from the big ramp and i lose only 1 time and destroyed like 40 ill post a pic soon.

It's a ton of fun to clip the top of light hulls as they fly off the ramp because they flip over on their side :)

 

IMO, you're much better off not living in scope mode. Only get into scope mode when you need to otherwise you'd be missing a ton of opportunities for kills.

209? That's slightly OP at the ranks you play m2 shaft. Still can't 1 shot m2 Vikings... -_- actually even m3 shaft can't 1 shot a m2 Viking with no micro upgrades. Shows how OP m2 Viking is right now...

I did not pay over 135k for my full MU'd sniper dmg just to hear about it being nerfed to 250...and other hulls get hp buff? Seriously?
And what's this about penetration power getting nerfed while railgun gets ridiculous buff to it?
