I like to trip people by shooting them with Shaft at the top of their turret so that they overturn. Useful especially if they are running away with the flag  :P . I don't drug except only when there is another Shaft M2 or M3 with a heavy hull camping and destroying my M1 shaft repeatedly...i hate campers

I think the best spot to shoot players if you're trying to knock them around is at the corners of their tank; it's the furthest away from their center of mass, so they'll get pushed the farthest.

That said, a lot of people don't seem to realize that you can get sniped in the turret as well; I was playing on a Brest TDM a while back, and there was a Railgun-Hornet guy camping behind some cover. I managed to snipe him by the barrel of his railgun. He certainly didn't see that one coming.

Still, it's more of a trick shot to snipe someone by the barrel of their weapon, since at long ranges, it's exceptionally hard to aim that precisely, with the sway and the imprecise crosshairs of M0 Shaft.

Yup barrel of the gun can also flip people or upset their balance. I shoot people from the back while they are jumping (especially when they are running with a flag) cause that overturns them easily. Obviously turrets like Wasp flip more easily due to less weight  ;)

But the problem is that Shaft does not have the impact force of a Railgun or even Smoky. Railgun especially throws the tank probably the farthest.

Shaft M1 and above in the arcade mode is also pretty handy as it annoys people and has almost as much power as ~M1 thunder. I am looking forward to rankup and get the M2 since i have a 67% discount as i did a full MU of the M1  :D

Despite the +10 increase in sniping damage, they were supposed to increase the arcade mode as well..

since most of the hulls got buffed with their armor

Instead of killing a viking now with one full snipe + one arcade, i need 1 snipe + 2 arcades, despite my shaft is somewhat MUed ..

WoW now that is impressive numbers for Shaft M3!! You are right they should increase the arcade mode damage as well.

USA-Power,if you shot a full strike and a quick arcade, your damage goes over 300 hp,which is the max hp for viking m3 fully MU!

maybe the tank you shot had some protection against shaft...

or he had double armour equiped...

Yes, that is correct. If you love shaft so much USA-Power than learn all the paints that do protection against shaft and you won't have problems.;)

u think after all my experience with shaft i don't pay attention to paints? lol

The problem only is that we can't guess how much MU each one did to their paints

but with this rebalance i guess rail got nerfed more.. as most hulls got increase in their hp, leaving rail with the same amount of damage

To me shaft is great for stealing kills and for defending yourself using arcades as well, unlike rail with its slow reload .. but it seldom can be used in xp battles.. however i know someone was doing great using shaft in an xp battle + wasp :S
