Why does everyone prefer Shaft on medium-heavy hulls?

I had a small duel with a Viking-Shaft, while I was on my beloved Wasp-Shaft ( :3 ) in stadium.

Even though he could practically one-shot me, I still managed to beat him.

It was soo much fun circling around my enemy making him miss each time

Spamming arcade shots in these situations can be really useful.

Shaft on light hulls is like a stealthy assassin :D

There are two types of Shaft users:

*Ones who find a camping spot, zoom in, and wait. These guys are the most common. Medium/heavy hulls are the best for this purpose.

*Ones who move around a lot and quick-snipe. These guys are very uncommon. Light/medium hulls are best for this purpose.

An issue I see a lot on lower ranks is that a lot of players love camping with Shaft, but most of them put it on Hornet or even Wasp. They stay in one spot for a long time, which makes it really easy to counter snipe them. If you're going to use a light hull with Shaft, you should be a proactive Shaft.

On my alt ALEKSEJ_LeSecond ( original name ) I use shaft viking and forester and hide in the bush and people litterally get 5 metres away from me and then i kill them. Shaft is the monster at low ranks

yeah .. they all turn against you in DM.. unless if u manage to make friends in the battle to give you some protection

Personally, I think Shaft is more suitable for team games.

Preferably CTF because you just have to move around close to the flag and the enemy will come to you.

Shaft is definitely a defensive weapon, IMO.

And if another Shaft annoys me, I go, drug, kill him and the Freezes, steal the flag, and make my team and the enemies think 'HTH did a Shaft capture a flag?!?!'
