Na mate, Shaft is better, it gives more damage than thunder, you can destroy m3 hunter just by 1 shot :o

It is the best gun one could get!

90 percent of the time I use shaft! I am able to rank up easily .

Shaft is for noobs, hardly see them anymore at my rank and when I do I'm sure to take them out first.  In fact, I'll intentionally hunt down shafts when they are playing in a battle room I'm in.  Can't stand em, thinks its hilarious when I keep killing them and they leave.

Is there any "skill" in shaft? I have a ton of IRL friends that play and it's all quickscoping, but slower...

Depending on how you look at it, there is a ton of skill involved with using shaft.

How to use it properly without camping, and possibly using the gimmicky full charge then single shot.. Let's say I'm using a Wasp/Shaft combo, and I'm trying to get a 4+ D/L, with the requirements I mentioned before, and in varied situations. If you want a bonus, use as espionage. (base raiding)

Well, I don't pretend to be an expert with that combo. That's trom or Bugatti. I can't remember which.

My advice would probably be:

1) be observant. If you watch how many hits an enemy takes, you can direct your fire on them. This will allow you to steal more kills.

2) know when to stop moving. I sometimes drive around and make kills using my shaft. There are times where I stop for a quick second to get off a partially charged shot.(This is mostly in CTF mode.) just that little bit of extra damage can make all the difference between killing the flag carrier and the enemy capturing a flag. As soon as you make the shot, start moving again.

3) learn how to stop your shot ive found this to be very effective when an enemy starts to circle around me. This mainly applies to campers, but it can also apply to moble shafting. If you go to scope an enemy, and another opponent starts circling you, you can hit "p" to cancel your shot. From there you can arcade shot them and maybe drop back into scope mode for that extra bit of damage.

Like I said I'm no expert with this combo, but I hope this helps.

I use Wasp/Shaft.

 

The main thing is, DO NOT CAMP.

 

Every time you shoot someone, change spots, if you wanna camp, use titan...

 

Also, run around picking up supplies (Health packs, DP) the whole time, it works great

so,i wanted to load ping pong to test something (my combo was wasp-shaft-tundra)

 

it usually loads maps after around an hour but it looks like this once worked well.

i went to the tab hat was in the map after my D/L was 12(deaths)

 

there was a isida-wasp-forester  guy who killed me 13 times, wanted to teach him something,

 

I screwed him xD

then he changed to twins and he was screwed again, so he ran xD

You don't see it often but when I do, it pwn and you can't go through its scope. Its still a powerful weapon andand I am planning to use it as soon as I get it m2.
