Shaft is my favourite weapon , i use it in any battle with mamooth , i made even 300+ kills with very less losts in one map in 35 minutes i think , i believe that it can be the best weapon in the hands of a master , it can be used as railgun and smoky when that is needed.The new update it have good and bad thinks the good think is that you can shoot with more precision but it's laser is the bad think because the enemy can see from where you shoot , wich i say is bad , any way i still like this weapon , it never let me down :)

I been a Fan of Shaft. Shaft has awesome Damage, but has the slowest reload. M0 shafts, can sometimes take out m2 wasps, or hornets. so I say its a little OP, especially with Viking, and mammoth.

Sometimes. I hate Shaft users who constantly press the 3 key. Shaft's already powerful enough; putting a DP on (especially if you're sniping light hulls) is overkill and often pointless. I respect Shaft users who refrain from drugging and show signs of knowing what they're doing.

 

My M1 Shaft can destroy M2 Hornets in one hit (it currently deals 141 damage, go figure), so I get accused of drugging once in a while.

I really dislike drugging because I feel it's a cheap way to be a better player (only my opinion :)).

But, when the attackers drug, I drug too. The funny thing is, they complain when a Shaft drugs even though they're drugging themselves...

 

Another common complaint is the term "camper". How do you define a camper?

To me, a camping shaft is a shaft that lives in scope mode and barely even moves.

I only go into scope mode where necessary. Most of the time, I'm turning my turret around looking for any approaching attackers. If I see one coming, once I've determined his route, I will get into scope mode and wait for him to arrive to destroy him and that usually lasts a few seconds.

And I move maybe 1-2 tank lengths in order to get a better vantage point but I rarely move more than that.

 

Given then above, I don't consider myself a camper but people call me one. I use a Titan, it's not a hull meant for moving around too much so I think my gameplay is justified. Most of the time, it's ironic how the people who accuse you of being a camper are hardcore druggers.

I cant stand shafts because they are worthless in a CTF game especially when like 3 or 4 of them join your team... they just sit there and go for kills clueless as to what is going on around them, its so stupid. They also aren't very good at DM or TDM at higher ranks since they can only really one shot wasps and hornets at that point.
