I tried today to use shaft in polygon, and it was awesome, as i was counting on its splash damage and arcade damage, but again 

people in my team were cursing and voting me ! despite i  was heading toward the point and not camping ! in polygon cp 

then i switched back to the noobi twins and our team has lost the battle

Just got my hands on M2 Shaft. I immediately went to a Monte Carlo CTF, where nearly the entire enemy team was using M2 Hornet. Destroyed 35 enemies, didn't die once. All within 10 minutes. I single-handedly defended the flag and cleared the entire upper section of enemies. One enemy Mammy-Shaft ragequit, one enemy insulted me on chat, and 2 enemies switched to Shaft because of my killing spree. They didn't manage to kill me before the match ended.

 

The lesson here: don't underestimate the power of M2 Shaft.

Already everyone is using double power to kill lots of players

So use double power to make everyone one-hitted, and use an heavy hull to survive enough to shot  :lol:

according to what the developers said that shaft is going to deal side damage even if you wont be hitting the target accurately.. and that it will be having a blast like damage in the nearby tanks.. but this didn't happen.. it can only pierce around 50% of the nearby tank on a direct line

Blast Damage, phooey. I would settle for my Shaft sniping mode to stop POINTING TO THE SKY two or three times every battle.

It seems incompetence that this known problem could not have been addressed in the month since it was foisted on us as part of

the stupid mouse controls.

Same here! 79 arcade damage is actually really powerful!

I dont really understand the hate on mouse controls, at first I didn't like it that much, but when you're used to it, its actually really good, especially for Shaft.

M2 shaft can blow tanks easily .  If you want to use shaft , then i suggest maps like Serpuhov.

Yeah, you can see your enemies while aiming, that would've been out of sight.

It's much more precise too. The whole scope view is basically increased.

How many MUs do you guys throw on m2 shaft? I reckon that the MUs of shaft is really expensive even for the first few steps.

Well now I know my shaft has a medical condition.They need to be looking for a cure not a fix.This crisis stuff and spinning turret are still happening about 50% of the time I spawn. I hope my shaft gets well soon. Good post funny and informative.

Why were they all on M2 Hornets? Does no one want to be denied a chance to jump for the flag?? Give me a whole team of Hornets at MC!!

All I get is invulnerable Shaft Vikings like me!
