Anyone who uses shaft on wasp deserves prison or worse. Such a stupid, ugly top-heavy combo. And to anyone who says it doesn't matter what your tank looks like, I raise this argument; whatever you do on tanki, you're trying to get a certain combination of pixels lit up on your screen, so WHY would you ruin all your efforts and make those pixels into an ugly shape?

People should choose a pretty combo, not a good one.

Does it matter if it looks pretty or ugly? One should choose a combo he/she likes and can use effectively.

Curious, anyone interested in playing a Shaft on Shaft team setup game?  All Shafts, capture the flag and/or control point type setup?

I'd think it would be interesting to see the dynamics of a movement based strategy game of purely shafts, on both sides, and how the play would pan out.

I'd skip the TDM just because it's lame to chase each other around when everyone would really just try scope each other, long stand offs as someone scopes in and can'ttake the shot but doesn't want to recharge for the chance that someone comes along soon after, so, um, yeah, no all shaft death matches (though I guess it could be rather ruthless if there was coordination between teams).

I've actually seen some battles (Monte Carlo, Serpuhov, Kungur) where pratically all players were shafts. This was before the PROBLEMS with the turret. Also, Highways can be predominantly Shafts if players don't realize that the team with fewer shafts will have more offense, and the game will likely be a loss or draw for the all-shafts.

Well, it was bound to happen. The "spinning glitch" cost me nearly 300 crystals even though it only happened ONCE in the whole battle. The one time I needed to respawn, in the right spot, at the right time...and i couldn't shoot. I got killed, the enemy captured our flag, and instead of 600 crystals I ended up with a little over 300.

6 weeks since bad programming ADDED this stupid glitch (yes, it was never there before), and they can't find a way to take it out for good?? Sounds vaguely inept, doesn't it?

Mouse controls  :D

Actually, it looks like you were FIGHTING mice...

127 losses compared to 182 sounds like an advantage using ANY controls.

One of my favorite turrets, I'll definitely be getting M2 in the upcoming sale, if I can rank in time...

This gun, like Railgun, is most definitely not OP by itself. But go to a large map where there a tons of them... and it's ridiculous.

*cough* Highways *cough*

They were total noobs, although for a lot of the time; I was able to keep an eye on multiple routes that were used by the enemy.

And I couldn't do this without mouse controls.

The shaft reload should be quicker, but that is all I want to say, it is excellent.

The reload is good enough to keep the turret balanced I believe. A little extra would make it a tad bit too strong

Shaft can be easilyed trolled

Only if you're playing with an experienced Shafter

mouse controls > arrow keys?

No

Shaft can be [easily] trolled

If you mean some schmuck climbing on me when I'm aiming, yeah. I have a whole list of those guys I'd like to bury in a tank trap somewhere.

C'Mon! Skylark is already our kingdom.  :)

Of course probably I couldn't, but this is not that hard...

Actually, I was very confused most of the time since I haven't played a serious Skylark match for nearly 2 years now.

There was also a drugging Smoky-Viking, which was really hard to take down thanks to it's personal Isida M3, but he usually camped at the far corners of the map so the damage was negligible. The impact force can be felt from a hundred meters away and knocked off my aim at times though..
