I think my plan for my alt will be this: --

Buy Shaft M3.

Buy Viking M3.

Buy the Mammoth/Vulcan kit (M3)

Buy Rico M3

Good plan?

I haven't used shaft M3 but the videos of it on youtube all seem to include the user dying a lot. I have M1 and it can only 1-shot like 2 hulls. Your plan is good except the shaft. Get railgun M3 instead.

M3 Shaft is adept at destroying M3 Hornets, which is likely the most widely used M3 hulls in the game. It can also destroy a wide range of M2s (which are still in use at Major General). I've used it a lot during test server open testing, and it's a solid weapon.

Been bumping into you a lot in game, but always opposite.  You always have excellent turret rotation speed, do you keep the DS basically on nearly the whole time?

Not the whole time. I like to pick a Speed Boost up before setting up shop, but I don't usually use them when I'm in scope mode already.

My Shaft has a lot of MUs on it, enough that using a vanilla M2 Shaft is quite painful. Maybe that's why?

I sport M3 as of late and I have to say, the sweep on your laser is quick most of time, very quick.  Especially in Serpuhov, Blue team, up the ramp, in the trees, seems like you can go from Red Ramp to Blue Building gap in two seconds sometimes.  Of course, I have also been finding that my better connection days I seem to be getting A LOT better response in terms of quickness and exactness, so it could be that too, you just have a way better connection and lag less.

good plan but maybe get shaft later, at the top ranks it's weak without micro upgrades as it can't even one shot m3 hunter or m3 hornet with prodigi, but with some micro upgrades and drugs it's a beast, can one shot a mammoth when using double power which is handy for taking out mammoth and vulcan's who so often wreak havoc on your team, and taking out the isida's which hide behind them

Of all the turrets in a non format match shaft requires the most skill and map awareness, such skills can only be acquired if you play as a shafter for a very long time.

But once acquired such skills, shaft can literally turn the tide of battle.

or one can alternatively go for the M3 Vulcan and still change the tide of battle without worrying about the skill factor.

I had a long and thought-out response to your criticism of Vulcan, but changing opinions is impossible.

Continue fussing, I'll keep getting better and better at making people like you whine. :)

At-least get to the major rank before you start talking to the big guys little kid

When gismo level players accept that Vulcan M3 is extremely OP then there is nothing more to talk about, btw Vulcan M1/M2 is not only at M3/M4 level the turret becomes so op that some clans specifically ban it in clan wars and also during training, nerf hammer will hit it by the time you get to the higher ranks :).

Sup guys, shaft noob here, :D
So the other day I was using shaft in my noob Acc.And I found out camping all day wasn't made for me.terribly boring.so I went mobile ,using arcade shots and scope, and it turns out its extremely fun.So when using arcade shots I found out u can only fire if the bar is full or if the bar was less than half full u can do a variable charge shot(if I'm not wrong?).How does the machanism exactly work?

Fun, isn't it?  :)

You still have to wait for the bar to be fully charged before you can fire the next shot. An arcade shot will use up about half the bar, which means a quicker reload time than when using a full charge under scope mode. Using arcade shots is equivalent to a weaker version of Thunder (of the same M level) without the splash damage. Reload time for an arcade shot is similar to Thunder.

 It's a beauty. Definitely a significant improvement over my M2 Shaft- it reloads faster, has a significantly better rotation speed, has a cooler orange-red shot, and most importantly, it hits like a truck.

Last year, at about this time, I bought M2 Shaft, and the year before that, M0 Shaft. Maybe I'll M4 it a year from now, who knows. ;)

No kidding, at the cost it is to upgrade that sounds about right.
