1) its called camping

2) I find that statement very offensive . I personally thank every sniper that is on my team when I play cause they (99% of the time) take out that Hornet who is chasing you when you have the flag and they give support fire for us attacker . And they also face a lot of fighting (a lot more then you think) cause the enemy will always sneak up top a lot and destroy them

3)Mobile Camping (moving only once in a while so you can get better angles and/or don't get spotted as easily) is a tactic used by Railgunners and Shafters alike

4)I have no idea

5)uh. False claim . I get killed all the time when I use shaft . Even if I do have drugs and a Isida . Same goes for the other way around . I see a shaft in scope mode I can kill it easily

6) Shaft has a scope to help aim at long distances. they removed that wiggle cause it made it to hard to aim and get a good shot

7) Only IF he have Double Damage and who ever he is aiming at doesn't have Double Armor AND only IF who ever he is aiming at doesn't have a shaft paint

Over thousand hours... how does he even... Stupid amount of drugs used... and he still has a terrible score/time ratio.... what is this guy doing... d/l under 1 with the campyest weapon on the game....

Can someone tell me what is going on with that profile it's tripping me out

Sure. He was only "playing up" because he got lots of points when his TEAM won big: he doesn't have to have a good score!

I had a 1.24 until February, when I started averaging 2.5 for my D/L (hint: lots and lots of easy kills and nothing else).

Before that I was mostly playing Pro Battles to get crystals for upgrades.

The d*mn "AIM UP IN THE AIR" glitch is back with a vengeance, so somebody pooched the programming AGAIN.

At least 4 times every battle, I go to shoot and the turret goes straight up. By the time I reload, the target is wary.

Why can an m4 mamy with an m4 shaft sitting on it (or any shaft for that matter.)

1. Stay hid and quite possibly be top scorer in the game.

2. I he has isida nearby and maybe one other cover he almost never has to face the enemy like the rest of us do.

3. If everyone starts avoiding him he and his party just move

4. And a major question for me is why does he have the vertical movement that many of us don't, that say in Silence, he can shoot up at the blues, or in Rio he can shoot up at the roof. Why not limit his vertical movement so that if he wants to shoot people on the roof he has to go to the roof? Same with shooting down. In Esplanade he can shoot all day from the roof anyone on the roof or the ground. With, say, my hammer I don't have that kind of vertical movement.

5. If he has drugs or maybe isida and cover, he never gets killed like the rest of us

6. To top it off, he has a scope and no more "wiggle" like shaft used to have

7. If he is m4 or close to it he can one-shot most people all day long

I just don't like that shaft has what I perceive as these advantages that the rest of us don't.

Thanks in advance for you comments.

1.) Whats the point of being a sniper if you cant stay hidden and do what you are made for; sniping

2.) Usually, shafters are taking out enemy shafts, so really they do face many enemies. Also, after shooting someone, that person will remember where the shot came from, and hunt the shaft down. when enemies get close, shaft is very vulnerable

3.) So lemme get this straight . . . If he cant see enemies to shoot, he moves? whats wrong with that? I dont understand why you put this in a list of shaft advantages. do you think they should be like mounted turrets that cant move?

4.) On most turrets, you can shoot up and down, its called auto-aim. You need to rock your hull like they say in every V-log, to help the auto aim. Shaft doesnt have auto-aim in sniper mode. Shafts vertical movement does have a limit btw.   Its just one of the perks to shaft I guess, all turrets have them.

5.) So what u mean is, if you sat in your base with mammy-hammer, and you had isidas, and you had drugs, and you had cover, you would die?

6.) when they added the laser to shaft, they removed the wiggle. they wanted to balance the change a little

7.) "all day long" except the extremely long reload time. Ya know that little reload bar that shows up when you go into sniper mode, the bar that empties the longer you hold space, until it reaches maximum power? If that isnt almost fully charged, you wont one-shot anybody

Yes, shaft has advantages, but so do all the other turrets

Come first in Rio DM, gets called a noob. -.-

Always expect to be called Hy6,by raged individuals if you:

1.Win a Dm by a huge margin

2.Catch a gold [in this case some folks even try to ban you ]

The reason Shafts are rare in the higher ranks?

Once they hit the middle of the rank ladder, like I did, they begin sorting the cream from the crap and only the best survive.

The one where they dive off an edge and fire at you while 'lagging'?

I've seen this multiple times in Monte Carlo.

All of the weapons in tanki are good, except shaft. SHAFT!! They're so annoying cuz let's say it's a beautiful day walking driving your tank with full health around everywhere, but then suddenly, a shaft comes along and quicksopes me, chunking off like 99% of my hunter. Then a smoky or any short range guns come along and just like touches my tank with their weapon with it and I die. And then as soon as i respawn, I realized that the shaft had a curse on me and was fully charging their gun to surprise me. Then...

Me: Ugh...That freaking annoying shaft! I'm gonna take revenge and-

*dies*

Me: nvoregwdlmfklengrflmdkfjnrelmkngheuirhgreiugvdnruignvrngwjrgvoiregjvoirgnjeoidrntg

*Shafter is probably laughing so hard at me*

You see, it's unfair because it's an imbalance to the game, and my upgraded hunter m0 gets quickscoped by an m0 shaft. I don't even get a chance to take revenge and...

Me: Alright i'm gonna plan to surprise that shaft! hahaha lol he doesn't even see me! Now all I gotta do is start to move up this ramp and (*begins to move up*) immediately shoot him with my thund-

*Shafter was charging at me the whole time and kills me*

Me: jevriogwhoiwfjdkfnoenrgovinfdlnagregjjserognlrstgn;esorgnv;oesrngvnv*Ragequit*

Maybe in the higher ranks this does not apply to you because i've never had a high rank before, but for low ranks...Damn that's annoying. So if you understand what I'm saying about the shaft chunking off my health and believe that the same is happening with you and that tanki should fix this, then please like this comment to make this shown to all the moderators and admins, and maybe even the tanki workers in the vlogs can see this comment!  :)

M0 Hunter is literally the worst hull in the game. Even with micro-upgrades, there is no reason why you should be using it at Warrant Officer 5, the rank when the 1st piece of M2 equipment is unlocked and several M2 kits are available. It's not hard to see why a) everyone is sniping you, and B) why you're not surviving very well.

Shaft is designed for high power. That's why it can destroy light hulls in one shot and heavily damage medium hulls at all modifications. Otherwise, it would be less useful than Railgun. It comes with a lot of downsides, like a extremely low field of view in scope mode, glacial rotation speed, low unscoped damage, inability to fire while scoped, slowest full reload speed in the game, laser sight when scoped...yeah. With good situational awareness, you can avoid Shafts in quite a few situations by seeing where they're looking or whether or not they're scoped. And Thunder wouldn't be my first choice of an anti-Shaft weapon, something like Ricochet, Hammer, or Twins at close range would be superior when combined with good maneuvering (standing still at close range with a Shaft aiming at you is a death sentence).

You won't be laughing once there are 3-4 Shafts pointing at all entrances .. . happened in one Silence battle I was in. Nobody could capture anything!

Same in Serphov - before the update where you can see were there shooting (while in scope mode) it was a nightmare trying to get to the other teams flag!

I dont really know to be honest. It used to be my favourite gun but now i only equip it in maps with high points like skyscrayper

but i still think its decent when its put with a decent hull like vicking. But nah its not my style :)

My personal favorites for shaft are:

Serpuhov

Silence

Highland

Rio

Also, I don't know why people say that shaft isn't good for goldboxes? Since I started playing again, My capture percentage is 100%. Always with shaft. I use it with mammoth or hornet depending on map. I only played a few hours lately, so I have only seen 2. 1 of those I got in highland with mammoth. Second one was from Rio using hornet and jumping to the beach from the roof. It works very well for me. Any other opinions about this?

Edit: Saw another 1 in Rio, got it with mammy and shaft.

They can only dent my Mammoth, and when Wasp; they can't keep up aiming properly.

Shafts can only win, if they aim for enemies right infront of them... not even considering they'll need to aim for Wasps or Hornets to make a kill.

In other words; why use Shaft, if there's Railgun on the market.

You have a point, but theres a huge difference between two shotting a hornet and one shotting a hornet, you see, i cannot explain how many times ive saved my team in ctf when i scoped a hornet that nearly captured. shaft may be a rare weapon to come across, but if people use it properly, they can be deadly. another great thing about some of shafts upgrades is that an m1 shaft can 1 shot a hornet m2, that might seem small but its a huge disadvantage to hornet users.

You play shaft on a main account? I cannot quite see anyone pulling the "last second kill" very many times with 0,2 hours played with shaft.
