I have a question In the last update why deleted DOUBLE KILLS IN SHAFT weapon The shaft has become bad You should rest the previous characteristics You do not you give importance to the Shaft You only develop railgun Positive But Shaf Just going to be negative like Add laser and delete Double kills I'm a .professional in this weapon has become weak in comparison to other weapons Without the use of double damage The result disastrous If the enemy used protection result without comment .just Give the shaft right Did you see a sniper have laser in her weapon ? Opposite the sniper always be hidden .Return Previous properties .Please reply to my question .anyone who has the same problem or liked my suggestion puts Likes.

 

i have had a double kill with shaft m1 on noob acc but it is really hard

After rebalance, that is 100% not possible unless you use mines. Even when you hit your teammate, your bullet is ''gone'' - no penetration at all.

Honestly i think this is a buff for shaft, they increased he damage and reload speed of the already OP arcade mode and now you cant even dodge a sniper shot because it charges so fast.

I don't think any proper shaft user will disagree with your statement. Shaft did get a upgrade, arcade shot is insane dealing almost thunders min damage on m4 level and having ONLY 0.1s longer reload. DD shaft can 1 hit ANY hull there is in full snipe mode without DA and protection against shaft. I am eager to try it out with alternator, to see max damage, arcade shot and other aspects with it.

Since it was bugging me so badly, I had to get it and try it out. 

 

Max damage with DD at 6240 M4 shaft, which can 1 hit M4 viking/hunter/dictator using DA and no shaft protection. Arcade shot same. But oh man how long it is loading. I wasn't using stopper, just counting myself - about 7 seconds for full snipe shot. I think it is same speed as loading energy after full shot. So it is SUPER slow. I guess alternator for shaft is worth it when you actually do proper clan battle as only good thing about it is to have ability to 1 hit M4 viking/hunter/dictator. For sure not good for my playing style.

I honestly don't care about the arcade mode as much as the scope mode.That is the defining aspect of shaft.Some people find scope mode annoying so that's probably why the devs reduced it.

 

But yeah, shaft got a buff and it definitely needed one.

I get f""" you more often than you would think. But I do get it, specially people who use supplies, they spawn, press 3 and get 1 hitted without ability to use RK.

That's exactly the reason why i use shaft: to piss off druggers who drug like hell but can't do anything against me with DD.  I just wait until the health box blinks out and hit them full charge.  Shaft is one of those turrets which is an anti-drugger gun (twins and freeze being the others) and I use it to teach druggers a lesson.  Hornet comes up to me, sees the laser, and drugs a DA like he has 5k of them.  So I drug  DD and one-shot him anyway.   :)  What a ******. I hate drugs. Or, if he's not super skilled, I beat him without drugs.

 

I am one of those shaft players that is more aggressive and less camping, so when I piss people off it's more that I made them waste their drugs than I killed them from across the map. :P

 

I might try out the alteration (ability to one shot any medium hull)

one day while i'm playing with wasp and shaft, I fired on all tanks but did not work. It did work initially but did not later.

it might only work for short range.

 

any thoughts on this?

It's been reported.  It's referred to as the "ghost bullet glitch", where your shots don't register and kind of disappear into thin air.

Which is why i dont use shaft anymore

I recently got shaft m2 on one of my other accounts. The account is 2nd lieutenant, and with shaft m2 I can utterly annihilate warrant officer 2s with m0 hulls lol.  With DD I go around trolling people who are stuck with their poor m1 hulls.  Shaft m2 is so epic.

 

btw I got it on the 50% turret sale in the chiropractor kit.

Before update if you had DD you could one shot kill M0 hornet and wasp with an arcade shot. After update you can do it with M0 shaft :D

Heh. Shaft M2 is quite nice; probably in the top 3. (Smoky and Twins tied; then Fire; then Shaft).

I am missing so many shots on my alt because the shots never register. This needs to be fixed, along with the other 2309434905834593485034985 Shaft glitches.

At this point I'm just using my arcade shots. They fire just as fast as Thunder M3 but do more damage over longer ranges XD.

I so agree, arcade shot is stupidly OP atm and they make shaft so unpredictable. I have noticed that isidas are causing this, THE worst amount of ghost bullets always appear in RIO CTF when enemy or our team have isidas, this happened yesterday about 25 times in 15 minute battle. This is first time ever I rage quit shaft and switch to thunder.

SO TRUE. Anyone else noticed this?  Ghost shots happen most often when you are firing at isidas and are most common in maps with lots of isidas like Monte Carlo.

Ghost shots are common with Smoky...so I just keep shooting. I think it happens with all guns with projectiles. A few times I got hit directly by a rail gun but took no damage.

But with shaft it's more annoying because the reload is longer and the every shot counts. (the damage is more)  With smoky, you can always fire again.

I been playing with thunder past few days, this never happens. I always see damage numbers! 

 

I can confirm also, that when isida is trying to kill you, it's 50/50 chance you will fire ghost shot in snipe mode, arcade shot works fine and never fails. I am just so surprised this issue haven't been fixed yet. I do understand it was halloween and devs are busy fixing issues with that map, but comon ...
