the devs ruined the shaft just because people wined about it now it can only kill a wasp and when people just repair their is no point it used to be able to shoot throw tanks they need to buff it back

You saying that because your main turret is shaft or do you actually have an open mind on the matter?

 

Also, if it were to get a buff, which buff would you like it to get?

Personally, I would like to see the quick scoped shot not drain 100% of the energy in the turret. Other than that it is fine. It just ruined the dynamic side a bit. I am not a camping shaft and rarely use the full scoped shot since you have to sit still for so long. The one exception is probably "Highways" where every shaft user is probably camping and dropping 8-9,000 mines around themselves :lol:

then light capacitors will be good for you when you buy it

if the sniper cant be the strongest theirs no point in it being in the damn game do something and make it better i cant kill a mammoth but a rail gun can thats bull  

short range is the strongest at short range

medium at medium range

long at long range

No turret can kill a mammoth unless it uses DD, or has the Striker alteration that also includes a long lock-on time and/or slow missiles.

And that's just assuming that the mammoth or titan doesn't have protection against you.

before the 2014 changes the shaft can with no problem and now you cant even kill a hornet at full power

Unless the hornet had two forms of protections on (module, and supply) there's no way your statement is accurate.

Me as having same turret hull combo as FogOfWar, except me most of time I only pair with Eagle. That's all.

 

OMG. Plz. Alternativa. Make an update that you can only use a module based on turret you are using. Ex. Shaft can only equip Eagle. Nothing more. I'm sick of dealing a Thunder (for example) using Eagle, Badger and Lion modules while I only uses Eagle.

So you're suggesting something that as a thunder user, I cannot use a fire module because I'm not using firebird?

 

Or if I'm using a shaft, I cannot use smoky module because I'm not using smoky?

Dude, are you tired of dealing less damage to a Shaft for example, using Grizzly, Falcon and Lion modules while you use Fox, Panther and Orka modules? Let's just pretend that's all the modules you have.

Well, protections for thunder are quite common up in my ranks, but that's only because without them, thunder can easily deal a nasty amount of damage and to a group of enemies as well.

 

Besides if that shaft has a thunder module with more protection than I can deal with, I can always just switch focus to a target with less protection.

I appreciate the concern, but I rarely see shafts at my rank, and most of them I do encounter aren't very good with the gun. But I do see some that do a good job at keeping me at bay, in this case I can just get my 26% shaft module on.

I start every battle with Fire, Thunder and Rail protections. I will swap out one of the long range ones for rico, smoky or twins depending on enemy composition.

 

As far as limiting protections to turret you are using, that would be a big step backwards IMO. If I were you, I would max out turret, then hull, then save and save for a few protections. I suit up for one short and two long or medium turrets regardless of my turret. I do not like getting one shotted.

How many threads you gonna post this silly idea in?

They are not removing triple modules.  Your idea is a non-starter.

 

And go play TDM in Pro-battles where you can have fun in sniper duels.   

 

Or equip your thunder module - you know - the one sitting in your garage.  It's your choice not to equip it.

I am trying to be less adverse than yourself on this issue, since I thought perhaps I did not fully understand his proposal, given I have a little trouble interpreting the expressed ideas, but I fear that you re right.  Frozen needs to lay this one to rest, triple modules are simply a reality, and I don't have issue with them, in fact, Africa was kinda nice in that regard, 4 slots, but yeah, you're right.  We should probably officially let this one rest.

Considering new overdrives which hull will be the best with shaft?

 

From what I can tell

 

Titan would be good for a defender with flag or point

Mammoth could be good for camping because of its invincibility

Viking would be good because of high fire rate

Wasp would not be useful for shaft because its a bomb

Hunter would be good for shaft if its attacking

Hornet would be good scout paired with light alteration

Dictator is just normal overdrive

 

I have wasp viking and titan m3

currently use titan with shaft but may switch to viking if overdrives come and titan for defending situation
