So, I bought the 3 shot burst alteration during sales.

 

BEST ALT EVER!

 

OMG.  I don't know how much longer the party will last, BUT NO ONE expects your m4 shaft in arcade to pop off three rounds.  I've been eating this up.  Here comes Firebird, lit up with all three.  Pound him from a distance with a scoped shot, and watch him heal up.  No worries.  Closes in, I pop one arcade to soften his arse up.  He closes, I hit OD, pop, pop, pop, that's ALL, and I mean "ALL", she wrote.  That's just one example.  Seriously, Hammers in Vikings running flags with turned turrets to kill off closing pursuers, hee, child's play, they're getting beat up on the way out, already used OD and a heal up, too bad, here comes the Fog baby.  Pop, pop, pop, and I'll take that flag, thank you very much.  This is life changing.  I DO miss my 1000+ really close range hits with short bands, but this is still WAY better.  Thump an Izzie, they speed boost in, feel like they can take you, no need to heal up, pop, pop, pop, take that, punk ash bitz.

 

I know, I sound like I'm losing it, but I had to say something.  Props for this alteration, puts Shaft, if played right, on an equal footing with Thunders and Smokeys.  I just have to remember I have it too though.  I was forgetting and just muscle memory waiting it out for the next one.  I'd have to remind myself, "oh yeah, I got two more of those for you, putz, come back here."  Everyone, dump your heavies, dump your whatevers, and buy this.  Yes, even druggers will love this, DD and three close range shots from one of these, you're gonna be putting some hurt down.

Bought assault emitters and heavy caliber

 

tried assault in one battle and its really good would recommend, the reload isn't long at all and you can kill a viking m4 in 2 shots with double armor (my shaft is not m4)

 

EDIT: tried heavy alt in highways and it is slow to load and you can be shot by other shafts when you are waiting to fire I think light would be better - would be great is assault and heavy could be combined together

Hm....should I micro-upgrade my M2 Hornet right now with my Shaft and Eagle module when promoted to major.

 

Or wait and get Centaur kit when promoted to Lieutenant General?

 

My Shaft and my Eagle modules are both M1 10/10. Hornet is still fresh M2 0/10.

First day yes, second, just a few, but now even my scoped shots were acting up, I had to be destroyed before I'd do damage again, like back in the old days, when you'd spawn and until you respawned, you were doing a whole lot of nothing to anyone.  Only happened twice yesterday, or maybe, three times.  IT IS a problem though, I agree, I'm just too stoked right now to be negative, but yeah, it needs fixing.

I'm the wrong person to ask, I don't think in terms of kits.  I bought one once, because I was going to save a boat load on my turret and it would get the me the turret sooner.  Really and truly, I buy on sale, and what I WANT.  I wanted a the M3 shaft, I had an M3 Hornet, and I was just saving money.  I don't know what the Centaur kit looks like now, it has changed like 2 or 3 times.  Just decide what hull and turret you want to work with most, put your money there.

So it's Hornet again?  Good.  I think they had made it hunter for a while, and I think even for a while they had switched the turret.  That combo sounds like exactly what you want, so if you're close to being able to buy it, skip the micros, otherwise, just micro till you have max micro, and get the M3 for free (I think it still works that way).

No doubt...I  just bought 3 alts and this alt and the Sledge Hammer on Thunder are both very solid alts. The jury is out on the incendiary alt for firebird. It seems compact tanks still is what you should equip based on my limited experience over the past day.

 

Back to the new shaft alt, I haven't had this much fun with Shaft in a long time. It makes the turret capable of engaging at close, mid, and long range. Used properly (which I am trying to learn currently) it should provide a long-term role in team matches for the shaft beyond camping. Congrats to Developers for making this Alt...loads of fun. Not OP, but definitely what the shaft needed IMO.

And for the record, when I bought the kit, it was that, shaft/hornet M3, but it was called god of war, with the Mars paint.

I have never bought anything except that kit on this account, and I've only bought another on another account, in three years.  I recall QUITE clearly, that God of War was Hornet/Shaft when it was first introduced, and it was kit outside the shop, I bought it with won crystals too.  They changed the turrets around later and like I said, I think the messed with the hull once and then switched it back.  I know, because I saved a BOAT LOAD of crystals buying that kit since I already had a M3 Hornet.

I'm First Lieutenant right now. And I'm not even close to buy that. 

 

I have approximately 478,800 EXP to Lieutenant General before buying the kit by crystals.

 

Or 297,800 EXP before buy it via real money (cost 57 USD) since you can get M3 kits @ Brigadier rank right now.

Saw someone come first capturing in Iran with Shaft and triple shot alteration, when I am being shot at it looks glitched to me I don't even see the shots and die I would've gotten it this time but some people here were saying it was glitched or something like all 3 shots don't register

Now this is what I call someone being rewarded for following my advice. If I tell you that this alteration is OP, trust me that I'm right. You will miss the high damage that you get with Assault Emitters, but this just blows everything out of the water, simply because you can kill anything in one burst. Plus, if you have an equal level Shaft and you see a medium hull, go for the scope. A full scope will grant you a one-shot kill.

 

Oh, and by the way, did I forget to mention that this alt completely DOMINATES in Juggernaut? You can throw away your Striker now, because THIS is what will get you the JGR 3 times in one battle. TIme it right and you can unleash over 4000 damage in less than 2 seconds.

 

With DD, you can kill Mammoth M4 with one burst. This is just not funny.

Come on, I've told people multiple times to get this. By now, you've understood that this is the second best alteration in the game that trains your accuracy and is like a stepping stone to Rapid-fire mode.

Assault Emitters is legit really good, and for a low cost, you can dominate. Enough said.

I hate to break it to you, but Thunder is one of the most coward moves in Tanki history. I generally hate anyone who goes up against me simply because Sledgehammer makes Thunder broken.

Because it shows that you're too scared to go into the heat of the battle, but just pick people off with a broken alteration so you can rack up kills. The fun factor in that is completely lost for me.
