Let's Discuss Shaft!

1: it is a sniper weapon. It's meant to be powerful

2 it used to one shot mammoth m3 so it has been seriously nerfed already

3 you can't move your tank while in snipe mode so you kind of have to camp with it. Also it's arcade shot isn't that powerful so camping is the only real option.

4 you can fight against it. Either a) buy a protective paint against it. Or b use a hull that it can't one-shot

5 it doesn't necessarily ruin matches all the time. Any turret can "ruin the match" if it is used effectively. Twins can ruin a match if its used right.

6 as I said before shaft can't one-shot everything. Check out its max sniping damage on all modifications and then compare that with the hulls.

7 shafts high damage is helpful especially in TDM matches where kills are ale everything. Also in CTF matches when someone with a DA takes your flag.

8 shaft is designed to be a sniper turret. It is supposed to be powerful. Can you think of any other turret that delivers pizza coffee and pay your bills? ;). (If you get that reference.)

 

These reasons are meant to be helpful, and I'm sorry if they sound really mean.

Also, if you have any questions about how to use shaft (or beat it) I/we would be happy to help.

One final note: the more experienced you get, you will begin to understand the turrets more. As well as learn their strong points and weak ones. If you can use these to your advantage then you'll have a better time.

so are you trying to say i have NO reason to want it gone, and no, not all turrets are match ruiners, just this one becuase the campers turn the battlefield into a shooting gallary for them, and a mine field to everyone else

Listen, you probably are one of those sweet, delicious Hornet users, whose HP is so delectable to us Shaft users, and we can't help it. If Mammoth was more common than Hornet nowadays, Shaft users wouldn't be so OP.

M0 Shaft can only insta-kill Wasps, Hornets, and Hunters of the same modification. If you're using Hunter, lead paint will prevent you from being one-shotted. Anything above Hunter can sustain at least one Shaft hit.

 

Also, Shafts are pretty easy to deal with if you use some strategy. Move when they're not looking at you, or just avoid their field of vision entirely. Sneak behind them (not too close or you might bump into mines) and hammer them with Ricochet. They won't stand a chance.

 

Shafts were not a big problem for me when I was at your rank. You can't expect anything by running into their line of fire, so just use some strategy and you should be fine.

Agreed if you go into a shafts line of fire, you're almost Guaranteed to be killed. Contrary to popular belief, shaft cannot one shot Titan of the same modification. I have m2 and only now ,with mu's can I almost kill m1 Titan.

Shafts don't insta kill up to Titan

Rail guns are used for camping

And shaft, as a designated sniper turret is supposed to have a scope.

I respect your opinion and I would like to help you solve your shaft problem.

However calling for it to be removed is not the way to fix it.

I do feel that a nice can of lead or dirty paint would suit you well, along with a heavier hull.

if we are discussing the shaft, lets discuss how annoying it is to fight.it  is op, ppl camp with it, you cant realy fight against it, and before you even have the option to buy it, ppl are ruining matches by geting all  the kills and constantly one shoting you.

get the starter kit XL,save a bit,and after u buy it,use dirty,they can't one shot u even if u use hornet

:) oh yeah,why are so many players dont like shaft,for me shaft is my favorite turret,i upgraded my shaft m3 wow if i play in serpuhov or kungur,its amazing xaxaxa,some players don't know where to go,snap one shot then half power result destroyed,don't stay in one place try to move  :rolleyes:  :rolleyes:  :rolleyes:

That's fine. Fully-charged shot + arcade shot = ded viking.
