I once had a kill race with a drugging M3 Hammer in a Poly DM with my Shaft. and came out first with 2 more kills than him. Somehow, people were constantly calling me "noob" and "loser" rather than the drugging Hammer Viking guy who has used far more First aids than I did.

Yeah, they do that to me as well. They don't like the fact that a Shaft keeps tormenting them and they can't do much, no matter how hard they try.

I get really bugged up when druggers start ruining a clean game these days, and there's too many of them. When I see them drug over and over, I start drugging back and mess a bunch of them up. They deserve it when they want to ruin good clean games.

Am i the only one who thinks that shaft is for noobs? I'm sorry but this is my opinion. Most of the shaft users don't even know how to turn their turret. If u find them with turned turret it's probably because they turned it while snipping and left it like that. There are also some pros with shaft, to be honest, that they don't even take more than half a second to target the enemy and destroy him.

There's times when I've seen an enemy shafter playing so poorly, that I not only destroy him in the best (sometimes most humiliating) way possible, but I start ranting about how bad he is and that he makes us look like noobs, which only happened twice though, and I stopped doing it realising how arrogant I was getting.

I have killed a lot of Isida's and Close range weapons in scope mode with my Shaft.Although I found a tip to fight back Shafter's.Just push their tank slightly and their aim will go off badly. That;s why a Shafter never shoots in congested areas

Well, it's common sense. A sniper never becomes a mid-field attacker.

Well, if there's enough cover to sneak around, it does get fun you know.

I find that a lot of people completely ignore arcade mode when they use Shaft. Yes, it's not nearly as powerful as sniping mode, but it's far from purely being an emergency weapon.

Need to finish off a weakened enemy? Arcade mode can.

Need to fire at somebody passing by really quickly? Arcade mode can.

Need to annoy another Shaft by messing with his aim? Arcade mode can.

Need to soften up an enemy a little bit for your teammates? Arcade mode can.

Need to knock around a charging Railgun? Arcade mode can.

A lot of more inexperienced players will unload a fully charged shot into somebody and then wait until they're fully charged to fire again, in which case the target has a long window to attack you/escape/get destroyed by somebody else.

Arcade shots are fun to use. It is almost equivalent to the same level Thunder (middle damage) but without the splash damage and comparatively has a slightly increased reload time (+0.6?).

As was said earlier, the laser has its uses mainly as a "sheep herder's staff" to pin the other player(s) or corral them away from a specific path/entryway. Sometimes the threat carries more weight more than its intended action.

I love my new m1 shaft  its awesome cause even though I got it a while after it unlocked I still finish almost every battle in the top 3. The only time I don't finish in the top 3 is when a) there are druggers b) there are people with M2 kits (stinger. Tornado) .c) M2 kit druggers d) people who actually have more skill then me

That moment when you get a double kill using arcade shots. B)

Did that before to 1 or 2 low ranked players who were at full health. I look forward to doing more of those once my Shaft becomes an M4

I think as a sniper, shaft should be the most deadly weapon on the map when fully loaded in sniper vision it should be able to destroy any hull in full sniper vision except for titan and mammoth. like double the power! :)

but in arcade it's shot is just right, useless!!!

No, arcade mode is not useless. I've destroyed lot of weakened tanks with arcade mode mostly in one shot, and it really affects the game. It also saves your life a lot of times in dirty situations. Besides, if you know how to use arcade mode, you can go on the direct front attack and steal flags also

i like it a lot it's so fun to use just charge, aim, let go of the space bar, and see the tank u aimed at EXPLODE

also it's the strongest turret in the game :)

if u want a very powerful, long range, accurate turret, just buy the shaft

Again, coming back to arcade mode, I destroyed around 2 or 3 tanks carrying flags(which were later saved) in just a single arcade shot on the Iran map. Oh, and if I'm not mistaken, 2 of them were on double armor, which proved a lot about how useful arcade mode is.

Too bad my team was losing. It was a good team, everyone was playing well, but when you got heavy druggers on the other side, it ruins the fun:(

Why is Shaft damage in sniping mode a single number, and in arcade mode a range? E.g. my M1 shaft MU screen says:

Damage in sniping mode: 167.8

Damage in arcade mode: 39.2-45.4

Shouldn't it be the other way round? Sniping mode damage varies according to how long you let the power bar go for, and arcade mode damage is a fixed value?
