I just got my m1 shaft on this account and it still feels awesome! People say it was ruined by the laer but its easy to keep ur laser hidden until you are ready to shoot. I had a 15 minute round using it on highways and got a stunning 53 kills with NO DEATHS. That is just one of my examples on how well it works on the lower levels B)

Why railgun player have so many good kits like tornado, the kit with rail m2 wasp m2 and savana, the kit with rail m3 and the fast hunter m3 (because railgun players need to run like cowerds after shoot us in back) + finally legand kit (everything nice and in harmony),but shaft players what have shaft+slow mamuth and none sniper paint + centur kit shaft + 1 hit hornet m3 and none sniper paint ?

Shaft players have 3 noob kits and rail players have 4 better kits.

Legand kit is 100% ready for battle and shaft needs paint+second hull...

And paints with shaft protections are cheapest in game:lead low level for 2k+5kMU 27 armor, dirty 17k (before the new update you got 39armor points protection from shafts for 21k).but railgun paints where are they tundra-35k (not so cheap ha),pixels 75k ?

Tankis administrators like railguns, but hate shafts.

I grew a liking towards Shaft because of its high damage and the ability to shoot with almost certain accuracy. The slow rotation and recharge speed is very annoying and if you do not act fast enough, you can get easily killed. I have been using Shaft for a long time and I have planned to stick to it, with Mammoth a temporary choice for a hull.

Shaft isn't too OP as it has a lot of down sides, such as:

-Slow re-load

-Slow turning

-The laser

They destroyed the shaft with the laser update... I guess it was a little bit too OP but they didn't have to make the laser so obvious.

And it takes skill to be a shafter, when re-loading you must hide... When shooting you have to be sure no one can see your laser / is near you.

But evrybody have's his own appenion...

Have a nice day - MZplayz

-Awesome Video here-

After over 10 hours of work (making standalone flash player work, filming, editing, making a thumbnail etc.) I finally got this video done. It should show how well shaft works at lower levels :)

Excellent video! I suggest that the message in the beginning should be put at the end. Other than that, keep up the good work!

I think Stinger would be proud. M2.5 Shaft/M3 Hornet/Digital with minimal drug usage in a 15 minute game- it's really nifty for fighting offensively, Shaft packs a punch (especially against Railguns), and with Digital you can pull back to camp when your health runs low.

I can't wait for M3 Shaft- if I can do this with M2.5, I shudder to think how powerful M3 Shaft is.

I tried a little more "aggressive" playing style with shaft :P I am not very good with it, but I was hoping some more experienced shafters could give me some tips since I had fun and want to keep doing this :D

ps. Sorry about the loud music, you might not hear me talk :(

I suggest you try using mouse controls with Shaft. It's much more efficient and better suited for Shaft than any other turret!

If it isn't available for your browser, try downloading the Standalone Flash Player. Not only would it make mouse controls accessible, it'd probably boost your game performance too!

About your gameplay style, I like how you maximize your use of Arcade shots in close-ranged encounters, especially when you haven't reloaded fully yet. It has saved my butt for more than a few times. I also usually don't enter sniping mode when there are no tanks within my view range.

I already have standalone flash player. I can use the game recording mode of bandicam with standalone. Normally I would have to use the windowed record mode and that lowers your fps by A LOT.

I tried mouse controls with it and I dont get the lag I get on firefox. However, I find it hard to drive around my tank while turning around the turret. I am just not used to it. I will be trying to get some practice with mouse controls since they are a really neat feature IMO :)

Edit: I tried shaft and mammoth in rio. I got 20+ kills (I joined late) and 4 deaths. I guess I didn't do terrible? I find the biggest problem to be landing arcade shots on moving targets. Normally I could easily see where my barrel is pointing but now I kinda have to check since my hand is faster than the barrel...

Alright, I have 57k crystals in the bank on my alt (Brigadier rank) and am wondering if I should purchase Shaft M3. My main reason for showing interest is because I constantly find myself in Serpuhov and Kungur. It already has Thunder M3 on it, so... any input?

No way. Mouse controls with shaft are so soft and there is a delay between your movement and the scope adjusting, it's only small but noticeable and annoying, not to mention keyboard controls feel much quicker and more precise, in my opinion of course.

I don't like playing against it, especially when the enemy Shaft is really good. But I think it's intresting, cool and very balanced. Still probably won't get it, I'm a Ricochet fan. :P

Hmmm... I've been thinking. Should I get Shaft M1 I would love to have fun with that and I can't wait for a sale (Not very patient at the moment) I have 20k but even if I do get it I'll have 3k let over to MU it but I should have done that during April Fools Day MU Sales. Darn it I'm so stupid. Anyway I might get it just for fun I already have another account anyways. (Just wish I bought and MUed it sooner. :(

Start saving gold for some kit for easy ranking up and collecting crystals.Save for Boar kit (if you are rico fan),or you can easily get stinger :) Don`t buy all m1s.

That's what shaft K/Ds should look like.

Shaft is crazy good at lower ranks. Higher up it starts to suck except on some maps (Highway, Madness...). I bought a M1 in a kit and rarely use it except for random days when I feel like sniping.

Save your money and get a railgun. It's better (by a lot).
