sorry to say, but shaft is truly useless... you are doing nothing for your team but just destroying tanks (mostly kill steals), you probably never ever returned the flag. With shaft, you have no idea what is going around. If i am in Silence and I see a shaft camping there, I just jump down from the right side (from red's point of view) and get the flag and return back on the right side too. By the time the shaft realizes the flag is gone, i'll be already well secured in blue's base

I agree partly with what you say but I have seen shaft being used effectively in ctf, some shafts will be aware of your presence and as long as the team covers for where the shaft can't cover for, then the shaft will be helpful to the team

shaft m2 is actually pretty good in low ranks cuz everyone is like a 1hit ko but when you are using shaft m3 in high ranks, it becomes useless.

1. Everyone has m3/m3 combos

2. Tanks are faster so they can get to your camping spots easier.

The only good map for shaft is in Highways. -.-

Shaft M2 is really good and effective especially with low ranks, in this battle, every times a mammoth came to cap the flag I killed him. I think that without the amazing damages Shaft deal, we wouldn't have survived that long with the flag in the base. Ask Lankbouv how many times I saved him, Shaft  is truely the best in low rank, because I one shoot ever tanks, NO KILL STEAL :)

on red team,in moon silence on ctf, i am actually happy whan there is a lot of shafts. I capture their flag while they are trying to snipe me. :D  :D  :D  :D

I just played a match as a M1 Mammoth with Lead armor, and I was getting 1-shotted repeatedly by shaft. The highest shaft which my opponents could've been using was M1 based on their rank. I don't see how this is possible according to the stats, unless they had stocked up on double power drugs.

Let us remember though, Shaft M2 deals 195 HP damage so only M0 mammoth (168 HP) gets killed in one shot. M1 mammoth has 200 HP. So unless you're using double power or the M1 mammoth was already damaged, you can't kill it in one shot...5 HP are still left ;)

Your latter suspicion is correct, they where killing you with drugs.
