Here's an interesting anecdote (true story)

Yesterday, I was in a No-Supplies Noise CTF, 15 flags, blue side with Shaft-Viking, raring to defend. It took around 3 minutes to accumulate the max amount of players for both sides. One of the particular players on my side was , who entered with his nimble Smoky-Wasp-Zeus; ready to attack. We were losing 2-1 but within 10 minutes, Alex was able to capture two flags and get us ahead.

LoveBiird, an Isida-Hornet-Zeus at this point tried her best to get me from above, only to land the wrong side up. I said something witty every time I killed her. Eventually, she was able to take me down, when I was defenseless - I had killed someone else so my Shaft was recharging. @your-muma, one of our prime defenders had to go, though I predict he was partially happy given that was sabotaging him.

It appears him and LoveBiird had a thing going on, in light of the fact SFO left to join the Red side - thankfully, he wasn't too big an asset to our side; in fact, we obtained even better players in the free spots, such as , @Jayjey419 and . At this point, our defense was almost indestructible - Alex was able to attack with and capture 6 more flags for us.

Problems arose, however - Jayjey had to go and not long after, Rooster and DNA followed which caused us to concede 2 flags. Fortunately, we obtained decent replacements to keep the lead. Slowly but surely, we captured 4 more flags, Alex being the capper of all of them. At this point, we reached a deadlock. It was stuck at 4-13 and it became intense - the duration of reds came simultaneously - LoveBiird changed to Isida-Viking-Emerald, and we all came back to defend at the risk of losing more flags.

During this, we had an annoying Freeze-Hornet-Rustle named who would not stop talking utter rubbish. @JJ410, a forum mod candidate (currently) ranked to mini_26.png in this battle.

The deadlock continued until mooz1000, a Generalissimo with Rail-Hornet-Clay decided to start HACKING and attack. He was invisible and invincible - within 30 seconds, it went from 13-4 to 15-4; we had won. The red team was outraged, some of them swearing and all that jazz. One of them even bought crystals to get over it.

I won 3870 crystals exactly whilst keep around a high 3, low 4 DL (would've been higher but a Twins-Mammoth-Taiga named @jalenpen kept going after me.) Alex here can tell you himself how much he won. I didn't get a screenie since I was so shocked by the hacker's presence, I forgot. It certainly turned it into a hollow victory - however, until then, it was an intense game, hence the story.

Cool story bro? I think so.

You know guys? Sometimes if you upgrade a M0 enough it can become quite good! I have beaten plenty of players with M2 just with a full upgraded Isida! Or a Shaft! I think Shafts are not for noobs!  I think people who spend REAL money are noobs! Shaft is part of the game! So deal with it! I know I'm not the highest rank but I still have opinions!

Shaft is for noobs, hardly see them anymore at my rank and when I do I'm sure to take them out first.  In fact, I'll intentionally hunt down shafts when they are playing in a battle room I'm in.  Can't stand em, thinks its hilarious when I keep killing them and they leave.

But Shafts are REALLY good!

IM A SHAFT USER AND MY OPINION IS THAT IF YOU HAVE IT WITH NICE UPGRADES AND IF YOU HAVE IT WITH A NICE HULL YOU COULD BEAT ANYONE WITH NO MORE THAN 2.5 SHOOTS SO IM NOT A NOOB BECAUSE I HAVE SKILLS, IM NOT A DRUGGER BECAUSE I HAVE A NICE PRTECTION AND SPEED ON MY HUNTER AND A NICE POWER IN MY SHAFT  I DONT NEED DRUGS, IM NOT A CAMPER BECAUSE I KEEP MOVING ON TDM'S, DM'S, AND CTF, IM A GOOD DEFENCE AS CAPTURER AND IM GOOD IN MID-FIELD, SO FIRST THINK ON THAT THEN YOU CAN SAY THAT SHAFT IS FOR NOOBS
