I swear on the life of the devs that titans dome really needs a nerf at the low ranks.

No it does not.

smoky and titan in M3 is something I am looking forward to building. M1 has a punch and can take a pounding when maxed.

OP as hell boi!

No it does not.

M4 thunder deal 120-190 points of damage to m4 titan with dome, while m0 thunder deals 40-70 points of damage to m0 titan with dome. And you also have to take into consideration that m4 reloads faster than m0.

Where did you get those figures from? If the protection the dome gives is 85%, then M4 Thunder should deal between 111-153 damage. The only way the'll deal 190 damage is if the Thunder is using double damage while the layer under the dome has no supplies activated and the Thunder is out of the minimum damage range.

Assuming that your figures are correct, you also have to take into consideration that M4 Titan has 2x more health than M0 Titan yet M4 Thunder deals almost close to 3x as much damage on average than M0 Thunder, not to mention that M4 Thunder has a much bigger range of minimum and maximum damage as as you said, less reload time.

I know, I'm just trying to give the non thunder users the benefit of the doubt.

M0 thunder deals 435 points of damage per shot, m4 deals about 880 points of damage per shot. These are average figures.

And if both thunders hit their average damage on the titans of their respective modification, then m4 thunder would have the advantage of not only reload, but also the fact that one shot from it can do just more damage than two shots from m0 thunder.

That's...exactly what I said. Except that you're right; it would be 3 shots and not two.

Like I been saying for the past day, titans dome is too good. I think it needs another nerf or so.

80% of the times I put it up here goes either a hunter or an hornet which just ignore it and destroy me anyway.

Hornets overdrive is pretty broken itself so no doubt about that. Hunter has to get in a 22 metre range to use it while mammoth has to be 10 metres just to use its OD.

10 metres?

10 metres?

Well in order to activate the OD, meaning that if the mammoth hopes to kill the titan with its OD, it has to close that distance, otherwise it's a wasted opportunity.

It's 7 metres at most, and even then, sometimes you could be touching, hell, even punching the enemy in their face and the Overdrive wouldn't even damage them. And seeing that its duration was halved, that no-damage phenomenon is more punishing. I've had many times where I activate it on them, push them with my mammoth and they receive no damage or just one random tick. I used 4 seconds of my Overdrive ramming into a Dictator that was reversing. He got pushed up on wall by me for the last two seconds and no damage was done to him. And then he immediately shot and killed me because I was on 5% HP.

And the range varies depending on where the enemy is touching your Mammoth. if it is touching the sides of where the top of the trapezium is on the hull, then they'd be damage immediately. if it's from the front, then it has a nice range but sometimes ins't instant like the sides. If it's from the back, which is farthest away from the animation, then you'd have problems dealing damage to enemies. Most times, I must be directly touching the player, much less 7 metres off of them.

Edit: By the top of the trapezium-like shape, I mean this:

I don't think you're understanding what I'm saying.

Mammoths need to be within 10 metres, so that when they're OD is ready, they can try to get even closer when activated to ram the titan.

Yes they need to at least 7 metres in order to implode enemies, but they need to be within 10 metres to get there in time.

From my experience the range is pretty much ZERO - now you actually have to ram/touch the target - and - keep contact for 1 second.

I've touched enemies for < 1 full second and they survived. :(

I'm pretty sure that 7-metre range benefits the players with very low ping.

Hunter's overdrive doesn't disable Titan's dome if you're not close enough to the dome generator, it'll just stun the Titan but leave its dome intact.

Oh, how I loathe that. I've seen it happen to some enemies as well and I feel sorry that they wasted their Overdrive trying to catch many people and the dome but only got one person that was closest to them.

Sadly I've seen worse overdrive fails than that. Like this Magnum/Viking player who activated his overdrive only to drive backwards and fall into a hole literally a second later, I felt bad for the guy.

Had a battle where a Wasp player dropped the bomb inside the ditch in Osa. It didn't kill me.
