ugly and slow hull that no 1 uses because it is outclassed by titan. Titan has more health, is cheaper, faster, better aceleration, can push better, better turret position, and it will have team overdrive

True. But makes no diff in hp when its M3.

Mammy is more stable. But the overdrive is interesting. Ignores damage and crush any enemies under u.

Players usually use mammy with twins in moon silence.

If Mammoth could cut down on those cheeseburgers that would be great, the main advantage his brother Titan has over him is that Titan monitors what he consumes and works out so he has more muscles !

Like seriously, how's Mammoth going to feel when his graduation robe barely fits, while Titan right next to him will be hanging out with all the chicks.

Well if you believe that, then it's your opinion.  :D

But I still think that's exactly what Mammoth dreams about in his sleep, only to wake up to find out it's the opposite.  :P

Except that the speed will be reduced even more. Titan is superior in all ways as far as I'm concerned.

I dont give a fig about my speed. I just wanna get to the enemy base, activate OD, and let the spawn killing commence :)

The problem with Mammoth's OD is that you have to reach enemies to kill them, and with the extra speed reduction I don't think that will ever happen unless the enemy is just "paralyzed in fear"  :P  when they see Mammoth approaching, rendering them hopeless.

While Titan as usual is the cool team player who gives all his buddies protection and not just himself.

You may assume I'm a Titan player after reading all my posts here, but believe it or not I'm a Mammoth guy, I have the M3 Mammoth and the M1 Titan. But I just like making fun of Mammy, it's really enjoyable for me :D

^one thing though, Mammoth OD's crush ability doesn't seem too important to me, invincibility is the main feature here. It allows the mammoth to come up front and lay waste to anyone that dares attack it. Or control strategic locations at certain moments, maybe helping cap/goal. Mammoth-Vulcan sounds like a good combo now.

as if you're gonna be running around in a heavy hull

True. I only use titan on Old Poly CP. I suppose you looked at my profile?

As far as I'm concerned, there is no advantage to Mammoth,m except maybe for snipers because of the front located turret. In a heavy hull, I want as much speed as possible, since both have plenty of pushing power/acceleration.

Titan lacks in the pushing power category however. It is one of the more frustrating aspects of the hull and keeps it balanced. A hornet has the same pushing power as the titan. Mammy, Dictator, Hunter are all much better. Viking is only marginally weaker than titan. I do prefer the speed advantage over the Mammy, but for flag sitting or scoring in rugby/assault several other hulls are better than Titan.

Yea to be honest the invincibility is what makes Mammoth's overdrive pretty interesting.

But if I've heard correctly from the V-LOG it said that the overdrive will last for a "very short" time.... so I have a feeling it's gonna be like 5 seconds or something.

Reasonable. If correctly used it takes about five seconds for area control and denial, escape aid, defense, and offense. And potentially surviving and repairing after a long vulcan spray.

That's true, many times all the action scenes happen really quickly anyway.

I wouldn't mind the OD being for a short while, but do they really have to make its' speed even slower? I don't get that.

I thought Titan could push any other hull? Balances I suppose? Does dictator still have his "climb" glitch?

I already have titan 6/20 but thinking of switching to mammoth (for shaft)

because mammoth has better turret placement and it's going to get a good overdrive

the downside is that the speed will be very slow

what do you guys think?

If you are more of a camper, then that might not be a bad deal. I do agree that the placement on the mammy is ideal for shaft. I tried it on highways some, but missed the slight speed advantage the titan has. I also use lots of other turrets so the Titan gave me a better all around heavy hull for using vulcan, smoky, thunder, etc. So, ironically, I never mu'd my mammy above 5/20...we will go different directions on that one:)

I have mammoth at 5/20 and titan at 10/20. I think titan is better overall and more intimidating, but I prefer how mammoth looks :). I don't know if the hull alterations will ever come out... players have been waiting maybe a year of more for that update.

Yes it's true Titan has better overall statistics +.5 mps and +10 turning speed vs +200 weight and +100 power of Mammoth (at m4)

Titan m2 and Mammoth m4 are the same speed..

Titan is better right now and ill use it - but after overdrives are released i'll have to see, if mammoth does have better overdrive I might switch to it or at least have it for certain situations

When I look at titan all I get is disgust. Mammy looks good too. Titan may have more armor than mammy but mammoth has more speed(right?) and power which is good in gold hunting.

Titan has a higher speed. The only two things Mammoth has over Titan is a heavier weight and a slightly faster acceleration.
