Wasps bomb needs a nerf in the low ranks.

Yup, here we go again; the imbalance of having a fixed number throughout all tiers.

Firebird Afterburn damage: destructive in the lower tiers as many players don't have protection against Firebird and their hulls have the lowest HP in the game. Not so destructive in the higher tiers as many players have considerable protection against it and their hulls have much great HP to endure it for longer.

Wasp's Bomb: The charging rate is fixed. The timer is fixed. The damage is fixed. The blast radius is fixed. Hulls in the M0 and M1 tiers would not be able to escape it easily or even totally. They have less Hp which means if they do take damage, they'd most likely die as the amount of damage is probably 1.5% the health they have assuming they almost got out of the radius. Hulls int he higher tiers have more speed and can get out of there easier than the M0 and M1 tiers. They also have more health (up to 2x that of M0 hulls) and have better survivability a they have up to double the health M0 hulls have to withstand a small brunt of the blast.

Having a fixed number throughout all tiers is something hard to balance. You have to make sure it's not totally destructive in the low tiers and not something that the higher tiers could potentially just shrug off.

Making it dependent on the hull modification would be bad since buyers would have an advantage over casuals in Overdrives. I'm sure you wouldn't want that, would you?

Honestly, I would rather have the buyers have the advantage than frickin exploiters.

Buyers at least financially support the game, exploiters just abuse the flaws for their personal gain.

So Ive found that freeze wasp is a great combo and can do really well in battles. It does require a lot of drugging but can lead to epicly intense gameplay...feel like a swordsman slicing through an army

Ok, honestly, I was never fond of Wasp and would choose Hornet in a heartbeat, but after playing some Vulcan + Wasp and Gauss + Wasp, I realised that I've come to like the gameplay as a Wasp at full speed.

It's fun to drive erratically and make so many Railguns miss their shots. I can't believe how many times that has worked. I've had people question me about how I outmaneuvered their shots and killed them.

It's still flimsy though and I can get one-shotted by a lot of stuff.

The only tip I can give is that walls have infinite HP and you don't. So use walls a lot.

Not gonna help much when I use Vulcan with it mostly. And instant-impact turrets like Thunder and Smoky can make quick work of m in one shot.

When I need to stay in the sight of the enemy to kill them, driving erratically helps a bunch. I'm getting accustomed to making sharp turns through obstacles and such.

One thing I noticed is that it isn't entirely glued to the floor. It starts to drift a bit like Hornet after a second of constant steering in one direction.

And wasp is less maneuverable than hornet. DEVs, da hell??? To somehow compensate its small size and its lowest HP in game with most hardest ways to control it against impact forces, you should live highest driving and turning speed to it. I mean, this is wrong. What is the point of beeing small and vurnerable, if it cant be the fastest tank in game?

My Wasp M1 (8/10) actually has more HP than my Hornet M2 (2/10).

Wait, what? What was those in-game stats in TO before? They totaly arent the same is in forum. Is forum information outdated? Cause when last time I checked stats in game, wasp was slower aaaand with lower HP

Wasp has been faster for as long as I can remember. Dont forget in-game stats include MUs as well.

Why the hell wasp is slower than hornet?????

Your perspective matters here. Your account shows that it has M1 Wasp and M Hornet. How many upgrades do you have on both of those accounts Wasp is faster than Hornet on all modifications. However, Hornet can surpass Wasp's speed if it is a high enough tier above the Wasp. Their speeds at M0 and M4 are very close to each other. So if someone were to have a Hornet an entire modification above a Wasp, it's likely that it would be faster than that Wasp.

Define maneuverability in this case. I say that Wasp is more maneuverable in the sense that I have more control over my hull when driving it. Hornet drifts, which is something I despise when I need to turn a sharp corner quickly. Wasp does not drift initially (only after about a full second of continuous turning at full speed), which makes it perfect for sharp corners and actually being able to move erratically. Hornet's drift is a big giveaway that makes driving erratically counterproductive.

I just checked stats in game before they implemented this new type of garage. Maybe I checked them wrong. Dont remember anymore, Nothing to check anymore. I think DEVs should bring back those numbers in game, so players could make better choices. Those levels, which are showen in stats, it totaly doesnt help to make a choice.

Yeah, I checked. Maybe I somehow got a little bit confused about some things. Nevermind.

Its fine. I was just checking stats and yeah. Ammm, I prefer Wasp, cause I like, as you previously mentioned, taking corners sharp.

I just realized something about the wasp. It's a lot slower than modern tanks, Cuz if you see, the wasp mk7 is 43km/h or 27mph, Which is slower than most MBTs which goes at avg 60-75kmh(I think).

Wasp has an annoying overdrive.

Agreed, quite annoying....not very effective compared to others tho, sadly. Seems most bombs go off without much effect

You don't say, all I can get with my Viking overdrive in a match are 4-5 kills(this is when I get nearly 20+ kills in a match). But a Wasp gets nearly 60-70% of it's kills due to it's overdrive.
