Well then I guess he's either an exploiter or a hacker. And even an exploiter would find that hard to achieve. So he most likely used used some sort of software that increased how many points he earned per action.

 

I mean 500 points in a 7 minute battle is an incredible achievement itself. 1000 is almost unheard of. But 3000? That's to the point where I say "get the Hell outta here". There is no way. Even in HTML5 that's still unlikely to happen.

 

So I would say he might've been using a software.

People have been getting 2k+ scores with Dictator. In this very Forum you could see that. Does that mean these guys are hackers? 

 

 

The only way to get scores like 2k and above, is to optimise. Make sure it's in SGE or Blue team in ASL. Make sure (in ASL) it is in a map that you'd see the defenders staying clumped up in the base. Make sure that the battle lasts for all 7 minutes. Make sure you have at least one Titan so you can have constant protection. Make sure you get as many kills and assists as possible. Make sure your allies keep clumped up so you can get maximum points from Dic's Overdrive and the Mechanic Drone. If all of these criteria are achieved, then you can see yourself with 2k+ score. 3k if it's optimised very well. Some of those criteria are completely out of your hands so you have to hope they happen.

You can see in the image that Congo sent that the player has 2 friends and a clanmate on their team, so they were probably all working together.

Ok maybe possible to achieve 2k. But 3k seems far fetched. Unless they were using a fully MUed driver drone and getting lots of kills.

Driver Drone isn't going to cut it compared to the Mechanic Drone. Mechanic gives 10 points per player and you're able to recharge your repair kit much faster than without it. Mechanic also gives you Overdrive charge for each player you give the effect to. So it's basically doing Driver's job for you while putting in less effort. Getting kills (especially with 7 teammates breathing down your neck) is more work and less rewarding than just spamming repair kits and Overdrives. 

 

My highest was 1.165k and I had many kills there (on a previous page). It would have been more profitable to use Mechanic since I could heal my allies on the point to survive a little bit longer and then use that Overdrive charge to get more Overdrives to use on the same players.

I've seen a Russian YouTuber reach a score over 3,000 with DIctator+Smoky+Mechanic drone in Blue team ASL.

Well, this guy is the record holder now for sure. The fact that he didn't hack the game at all to get to the top shows that he's essentially the world's best Dictator player. Now that's a feat. I mean, you can even see the joy in his face when he realizes that he is the world record. Hats off to him, because he just made me smile as a Dictator user.

Man, me always ignoring the smallest details. But I'm also guessing that means the dictator and mechanic pairing is everywhere.

Yes. Seeing that the double funds are over, I'm seeing less of them. I still see some though. It's still good to take the top spot with. It's just that you're doing it with 1x funds and not 2x funds. Good for stars in the Challenge. 

 

Also look at that video. Everything was done optimally. Even the controlling of the Nuclear Supply Box. See how a few of the Mechanic Drone activations gave him back almost 50% Overdrive charge? Truly a feat.

Driver drone. Speeds up over-drive recharge time with every kill you get, at least that's how I've been getting 1k+ scores. If my dictator was m3 and not m1 i'm sure my scores would be higher.

Incendiary band was quite OP, for about 3 days. Can't have Tanki's most dev despised turret being good so it, and every Vulcan incendiary band or not, got the 75% uber nerf.

Congo spider is right, these records are broken ONLY with Dictator and Mechanic drone combo. Nothing to do with hacks or Driver drone. Mechanic at full MU actually has larger range than Dic's overdrive, and overall gives more points per minute, so Dictator is just an added bonus. However, both are necessary to get over 2000 points.

 

Assuming 100% efficiency, you can activate Mechanic once every 10 seconds, and you can probably activate OD once every 30 seconds. So assuming all 7 teammates are in range when you use it, that's (10*7*3)+(25*7) = 210+175 = 385 points in 30 seconds. Now, at that point you wouldn't be able to speed up the repair kit's recharge because you cannot activate your own supplies (since you just used your OD), so at that point it's actually more efficient to self-destruct and start over fresh, despite the 10 point penalty. Since respawning also takes around 10 seconds, you can basically continue the process non-stop over and over for the whole 7 minutes, therefore the potential highest score in 7 minutes is around 5300, to which you could also add bonus points from capturing bases and getting kills.

 

Obviously this kind of record requires incredible levels of coordination from teammates and complete incompetency of the enemy, so around 3000 is a reasonable amount for a record with favourable conditions in a normal MM game.
