Update 172 - new maps are already in the game

Just had a really long CTF in Future . . it was great. The teams were only one flag apart the whole time.

 

The map is very nice, there are things for snipers to do, but also things for runners to do, and for freeze/fire to do.

 

The run paths are interesting, once you learn them - the rooftop really adds a level of 'choice' to how you escape with the flag.

 

Nice work on Future. It reminds me a little of Lunar Silence, but more complex and a better 'even' ness to the two sides flag location.

 

One problem - it is a bit slow to render.

So nice! :o  I've played in all of them, and i'm seriously thinking that these maps are some of the best I've ever played in. B)  Thank You so much!!!

So, I've just played in all three maps... and I'm amazed at how good they are. Future takes terrain and slopes to a whole new level - the layout's a little crazy, but the gameplay definitely seems to work. Factory has some great CTF routes; it's fairly simple yet very effective in terms of gameplay, and I especially like the added factor of an overhead section. Platform is a great map for Rails and Shafts to hang back and shoot down towards the centre, though this map doesn't seem to have received as much popularity as the other two.

 

Overall, I'm very impressed at the standard of these maps - devs, you'd better up your game, I won't be entering a Silence battle for a long time now ^_^ It looks like many players are simply put off by the new props - don't be, these new maps are living proof at how they can be implemented successfully. Crash and Gallery were pretty bland; though these use the same props, they're loads better in terms of gameplay.

I changed my mind about Future.... Nice map xd i like the tunnels , nice places for mines and stuff and to sneak up to the enemy :)

Personally, I like the jump in the center of the map, so fun to parkour off of
