Tanki Online Wiki

Very good. Thanks to all who have put input into it. Can we contribute to it? If so, how? A vast majority of the pages lack lots of unnecessary but interesting information (which, from personal experience, is what people look at wikis for). In fact, the majority of pages are very threadbare and really contain nothing more than can be found on the forum.

If it is not publicly editable, then I would like to apply for a role editing it as it is something which I have a passion for and something which I really want to do. I also have a bit of experience on wikis and know who used them. Plus, if it counts for anything, I was pretty much the main editor of the original unofficial wiki, before trolls invaded and destroyed all the pages.

EDIT: Looked a bit more and I'm quite disappointed. This could do with a helluva work to make it perfect. There's loads which can be added. Plus there's too much focus on FAQs which nobody looks at wikis to find information about anyway, they use forums for that. Plus the wiki has very little history of tanki or facts about the aspects of the game and the items which gameplay is made out of, no detailed info about the maps, the hulls, the guns, drugs, paint and so on. No info about rebalance, or any of those historical things, too many disambiguation pages without any information.... it's lacking in so many areas. Also has too much opinion, not enough fact, no inter-linking, minimal categories, lack of a lot of things which it needs to have, historical and current. Good start, but needs a pile of progress to be decent.

How about getting a team together, Semyon, just for people to update this? A good wiki is extremely important and we could do with a good one for the community, and a team of a few good writers with good Tanki knowledge could update the wiki well. :)

SECOND EDIT: There's even grammatical mistakes here and there. :/ Much work is needed.

THIRD EDIT: It seems like some of my articles have been added to the wiki and changed to a far inferior version without even my permission. I am not happy that I was not even told that this would happen... can't whoever edited this be polite enough just to tell me what my work is being used for? I don't care if you take it without permission if you just had told me in the first place. >.<

Semyon and crew, mr.cow (skitee) will get his bucked teeth (reporting skills) and get out all of those despicable raisins (errors) and even spit out some chocolate chips (reporting goodness) into those cookies (Tanki Wiki)! mmmmm, doesn't that sound good already?

Sorry for bump but I have suggestion. I have almost all data, even I made eng site before Tanki did.  ;) Now i want to burn another DVD for me but I need just few pictures (background texture for Gladiator, Bronze, Silver, Star, Lucky 7, Glide and Flame). I found them in Soiko's TankViewer but why you dont put that images for paints on Paints page? Something like this.

Also suggestion unrelated with Wiki.  I have Ranks icons in 86x86 resolution but i want that in min. 256x256 for desktop. I'd even pay (in crystals) for 512x512 set of icons. Just an idea.   :D

Yeah, it could definitely be improved upon. I think it should be made an anybody-edits wiki...like 99.9% of all other wikis on the Internet. Information could be made so much more available and clear that way. And hire mods to oversee the edits and revert any vandalism.

I like the museum though, I learned a lot of new things there, despite a lot of missing information.
