So who actually buys kits? 

 

It makes no sense. 

 

On special events where everything is 50% off, why every buy kits that are between 40%-50% off with a chunk of that for a completely useless paint. 

 

On 50% sales everything is available. Kits.. what you want... isn't always available. 

 

Do people actually buy kits? Is the only advantage simply that you get more advanced equip earlier? 

 

It's far better to buy equip at 50% then micro upgrade fast with sales. 

 

Kits should all be over 50% off.

They would buy it if more than half of the items, they don't have. 

 

Like for me, I was tired of waiting for good affordable kits in the shop so I was going to buy the one I could have afforded with that current kit rotation selection. I bought the BumbleBee kit. I looked at it and looked at what I already had before buying it.

 

I already had the Hive paint but I don't really care about paints that much. 

I already had 30% Hammer protection.

 

Buying the kit would have increased that to 35% protection which isn't much of an increase against a Hammer but it enabled me to upgrade it further. I didn't have Hammer or Hornet M3 so there was a plus. I had Hornet M2 so it was kind of tough to decide but I did it anyway.

If I were to buy kits, I'd look at what I already have from 3 parts available: Turret, Hull, Protection. The Paint doesn't matter to me. 

 

• If I have the Turret and not the Hull and Protection Module, I'll buy it.
• If I have the Hull and not the Turret and Protection Module, there is a small chance I would not buy it.
• If I have the Protection Module and not the Turret and Hull, I'll buy it. 

A little more in-depth now:

 

• If I had the Turret and the Hull but not the Protection Module, I wouldn't buy it.
• If I had the Turret and Protection Module but not the Hull, I wouldn't buy it.
• If I had the Hull and Protection Module but not the turret, there is a small chance I would buy it. 

This is also influenced by what modification the turret and hull are before the potential purchase.

But then it would be too easy and too cheap.

 

And this used to be a thing in the past about a couple years ago. It made everything worse, the economy and the game balance.

 

Atlas kit with 3 m2 modules would be only 100k. It was that cheap.

 

Now the only discount on kits were the original ones, and that's how it should be.

The point of kits is to get equipment earlier than the unlock rank, so prices aren't going to get reduced any time soon.

I have a suggestion: the kits in shop unlock 2 ranks before it unlocks in the garage. At least make the rank gap between the shop and garage kits to 1, this way It'll be more fair and really helpful for those who don't buy with real money and the balance will be better as well. Please consider this.

No. Sometimes, it happens that there is an empty place in this kit rotation.

Seems like some garage kits never appear, likely because after some cycles, and for whatever reasons, you reset the cycle. So we don't have a chance to see all kits.

Bought Raiden kit today, I knew Viking was unstable, but I forgot how unstable it was. Paint is pretty nice though.

go minotaur. it's more expensive and it has less armor than ram kit, i know, but if u compare it to ram kit in stats, u should be good to go minotaur in the long run. the m1 version - corsair kit - is 2nd top m1 kit in front of blizzard and behind matrix. matrix >>> annihlator, also corsair >>> minotaur. btw that means that matrix and annihilator kit and matrix kit are No1 on M1 and M2 kit ratings, also corsair and minotaur shares a similar place on the ratings. honestly, u should have gone corsair kit and saved up earlier. but nvm.

 

Honestly, i've never been to M2, but i know how good viking m2 is. i mean - 2.3k armor points and 8.76 metres per second compared to M2 titan's 3.2k armor points and 6 metres per second?!!? that is extremely good. also friend my alt account: my alt account's name is - Fr0zen.man

no, that's wrong. to see all product kits available for ur rank that are 2 ranks away from being removed from ur garage FOREVER, see the shop. they are under Product kits. or go to the tanki wiki and search up "Product kits" to see all the product kits for ur rank.

i strongly agree. because it is actually one of the top M2 kits, and WO4 buyers come along and buy it, while the rest of us has to work our butts off in tanki trying to get those crystals. there's actually a product kit called "Hammer of Thor" and u can't buy it in the shop: u have to spend 43.4k crystals and have to between the ranks of staff sergeant and WO1 to buy it. honestly, pitbull kit should be like that, unable to be purchased in the shop, considering it being one of the most powerful M2 product kits of all time. isn't that right?

@ReadyPlayer1  Thx. I bought it today with the alteration for stable shots. I had the idea to save for  a kit when I was First Lieutenant.

I was going to do the maths for all the kits at some point.

 

Some are very close to 50% off hull+turret+module combo when you include the paint (Stinger is one of them), but others aren't so good. Corsair only gives you 32% off the combo. Pitbull only gives you 25% off.

 

Kits with more expensive paints usually have bigger discounts and the reverse is true (so only 40% for Turtle), but not many of them give you 50% off the combo (and I think that should be the maximum).
