Sure.....

 

I'm a Major, and if I'm ever banned, I'll have to rank up my "Alt" for 2 months just to tell my friend that I'm banned, and by that time, my main account will be unbanned, so this won't work at all.

I propose to give this information in the battle list (thing you see when you press TAB key..)

- either use a different color for banned users

- or use your prefix like "(banned) tankers.name" in the list

 

This list is a keyfeature that most tanker use frequently. Also names are already there.

It think this is a central an natrual point to give this information.

 

 

About "embaressment"..  valid point.

 

My personal opinion is this:

if I am banned I like my friends to know it, so they "understand" instead of hiding myself. Giving other the impression to ignore them is.. a real bad thing. If I _would_ feel embarressed then I can keep offline or play a lower account for that time.

You could have a personal message system where you can message a person outside of chat. You know how there is invite to battle under that you could have Personal Message when you click it it brings up a 1 way chat and you can only post words that are given like if you try saying

 

you (You know whats here) I hate you!!

 

it would say Can not send message, Unknown words

I actually quite like this idea, as sometimes I forget to look at the chats and reply to others, and suddenly when I do look I see a flood of people asking if I'm banned! Rather outrageous, but it would be nicer if you could easily discern if someone is banned or not.

it good idea but, what if a player that is banned joins in the battle with unfamous players, and now they know that player is banned from chat, what if some starts to insult a player that is banned, of course that olayer can ignore offender, but on the other hand he won't be able to report the offender too while the player is banned.

That happened to me once, I was in battle with friend, and he saw when I got banned, and he said that out loud, now all players that were in batlee knew that I am banned. And one started to insult, he wanted to sabotage in battle, I reported him later, but anyway its a good idea.

The "/vote" function in the battle is only for reporting guys that disobey the game rules and not for chat-violators (I was told so once by a moderator).

 

So in this case take a screenshot of the chat conversation and report them through the forum. There is a section for reporting chat violators, where you need a screenshot and a short description. A guide is there nearby. In case you cant create a topic there (cause you are banned) then simply wait a day until your ban is over.. or as a friend via PM to do so.

Indeed a nice idea. But at the same time, if you got yourself banned, then really it is your own fault. I also see a problem with flooders abusing this by spamming that they are banned, thus defeating the entire purpose of being banned in the first place.

But when I think your banned its unfair to have all your communication skills gone.. you can't talk to friend or even help in battles as you could of so I think there should add an auto talk when your ban me like other games they have sentence already mad and you choose them lime some be hi how are you what's up.. and or be like flag left corner.. if you k now what I mean.. So you be able to still communicate but wouldn't be able to make your own sentence until m it unbanned

The thing what u have said is what i was thinking, but this would only work in chats. What if ur friend in a battle says hey snipe how r u goin?

Cause they wont always type the full nickname and the computer wont get to know he is talking to u.

but only if the banned person tries to chat back

 

 

Ur idea can easily work in chats but for battles the banned person should just type his friends whole nickname and Your friend, snipe3000, is banned for a week. will only be able to be seen in our friends tanki window.  :lol: 

 

 

and when you do that is can only be seen by that person like a notification
