Ideas for the Interface

Hi,

I hope you rearrange the button this way (see Image below), cause it's better and easy to see all mode at once than scroll down.

Plus:

- it's better to see normal battle list button next to the quick list battle.

- it's better to see the Deathmatch and Juggernaut mode next to each other.

...

I think it's fine as is. Adding texture might create too much noise and make the interface uncomfortable to look at.

Why don't you make the battle list available again and the server list because it is way esaier to find a server without ping spikes to 999 ms

We all know how the shrinking hit points of Firebird afterburn effect does. I have an idea on how the afterburn dealt by Firebird can look like. Developers could create a temperature afterburn effect which causes the hitpoint numbers to display the cooling hitpoints in degrees Celsius.

Perhaps adding an option in the settings menu would be a good idea. The players can enable or disable the temperature afterburn damage dealt by Firebird by using the settings menu check box.

Please tell me what you folks think.

Thank you.

ui_lockout_while_waiting.png

When I'm waiting to be placed into battle (or i'm on the loading screen) I can't use any of the UI items. I can't access Chat, Garage, settings, friends, etc. That's kind of annoying.

My idea is to not do this. When you bring up the Matchmaking dialog ("Preparing to Battle"), the only thing that becomes locked is the battle menu (the place where you choose what game mode to join). While this dialog is up, you can still use all the other UI elements such as Chat, Shop, Garage, all those little buttons at the top. Opening Garage while waiting will open the "in-battle" version (where the window is transparent), just like if you'd opened it while in a battle, so you can check the status of your waiting :) Like this:

The buttons should also be clickable on the loading screen, and opening Garage there will also open the in-battle version.

What do you think of this?

:)

completely irrational not a bad idea, but some sort of mini game you can play with other players or AI while waiting, something like that

Have I understood this correctly: this is pure cosmetics, isn't it?

I prefer to know how much hp I loose, instead of a temp scale that has no meaning to me (how much harm do I receive if my tank has 250°C? )

You mean you want to know when exactly will the burn on you be over? Like a cooldown scale/thermometer? If yes, then it can also work in the same way you get frozen, I guess.
Honestly, I wouldn't want another bar around my tank. The health-bar and reload-bar is enough.

Hello, My suggestion is to let chat moderators "pin" a message at the top of the chat area, so people wouldn't be asking same questions all the time. For example people ask; when an event starts or when will they get their containers, questions like this. This will help people and chat mods a lot.

that is basically what the news tab is, but the devs are to afraid to admit that they messed up on something and wont tell anyone and leaves us to figure it out ourselves

Reduce the bigness of matchmaking play buttons, like an option to make it smaller, so it might decrease some lags too..

Changing the size of icons will have literally 0 effect on game performance.
