This was the Update I have been waiting for.

But Along with it, a better score distribution shall be added.

If a player "A" contributes 33-99% of the damage to any enemy "B" and some other player "C" kills "B",  then player "A" should get 5 score( or 3 if you get total 10 in DM) and rest score is recieved by "C".

 

This is because sometimes we ( at least me, bcoz my railgun cant kill tankers in a double damage as it is only m1 and others get m2 hulls) are able to do like 80-99% of the damage and then some thunder or magnum just shoots anywhere and gets the kill with splash effect, and we get nothing.

I have a good idea to remove the clutter on the main interface and make the rank bar take the full screen length.

 

The buttons which are next to the rank bar on the right hand side such as "Shop, Battles, Garage" etc, must be moved below to where the matchmaking battle buttons are located. What I mean is to move all the buttons next to the rank bar below to where the matchmaking battle buttons are such as "Missions and Group" buttons.

The reason behind this is for two reasons. The first reason for this is to make the rank bar longer, and the second reason is to make the main top interface less cluttered and more organized.

 

Of course, the matchmaking buttons "Missions and Groups" must not be mixed with the other buttons, therefore both the "Missions and Groups" buttons must be on the left and hand. The other buttons to be moved will be on the same row on the right hand side leaving a space between to two categories of buttons to avoid confusion.

 

For best results, the developers should remove the "Missions" button on the matchmaking bar and replace it with the "yellow star missions button" instead for even less clutter. By removing all of this unnecessary clutter, it also helps players which plays Tanki Online on tablets and phones because those small devices have small screens.

 

I hope Maf and other administrators and forum moderators agree with my idea here.

Good point. I thought about that too earlier today :P

I thought you do not accept ideas about removed features, and this is one of them. Don't you think about when you declined some other ideas with valid reasons why to bring them back like you did in this one? I mean, some other people also did ask for implementing back old features with very valid reasons and explanations why to, while getting a rejected tag.

 

Also, I am just guessing this is a Merge of Under Review idea, because you wouldn't put a Merge tag if it's actually a Merge of a Declined idea, would you?

This does not work. It is death-match for a reason, whether or not you dealt most of the damage you did not destroy tank "B". Person who destroys tank "B" gets all points. Even if tanker "A" did 15% and tanker "C" did 35....tanker "D" gets all points because he destroyed tanker "B"....which is the point of the game

originally my idea , still under review , and it seems like it's never going to get implemented

If an idea is minot and straightforward and fits into a category topic, we merge it regardless of whether it would be declined or under review. Sometimes we do decline it instead of merging.

 

I don't see how this idea is bringing back a removed feature. As far as I know, DM battles never displayed score - only kills.

I thought I still remember the vlog where they said about removal of Score section from DM because it was no longer relevant. It definitely was a thing. I am 99% sure it did exist. I cannot recall when and provide proof right now.

Please make "R" be a toggle on/off rather than a hold-to-view. Even using the tab trick is annoying, takes away game time, and gets reset as soon as you accidentally hit R instead of E when trying to move the camera.

When did DM had Score ?

it had kills tab in side of the timer

I don't really see the point in making the rank bar longer. That only helps if you have a very small screen, which doesn't leave enough space for the EXP, rank and name. Other than that the interface is pretty good already.

I agree with you that the interface is rather good. The interface would look better if you moved all the buttons next to the rank bar where the matchmaking battle buttons are located.

At the end of battle we get a score screen with Continue and Exit buttons. This should change. The game needs three choices now:

 

Continue (unchanged)

Lobby (re-named Exit)

Garage (exit to the Garage instead of the Lobby)

 

Rationale

 

The new modular protection system means players can and do change their modules according to the needs of the ongoing game.  When that game ends they often choose to re-set their module selection to a sort of basic set.  This means at ten end of one batle the player visits the garge to change tings around - even if they intend to play another game ASAP. 

 

Drones add another need for this. Many players cannot afford to run their drones all the time. They add another reasone for more frequent garage visits today.

 

The "Continue": choice is great when you do no need to fiddle in the garage. But that case is the exception now not the rule. 

 

The Exit button of course works but this costs a click every time.  The Garage is the #1 destination but this sends us to the Lobby

 

This is a small thing... but removing small interface annoyances is very satisfying.

Another approach of course is to just eliminate the Matchmaking Lobby.  Keep the Pro section lobby battle board of course.

 

Instead of a separate page just put a panel on the garage screen with buttons for the modes, quick start, and the Pro section.  Just go from garage to battle.

I don't know about you but when the friendly fire is turned on, the icon looks too similar to when it's off. So my suggestion is to make it either brighter or more bold when it's on.

self explanatory , I think it's inconvenient that I have to enter the garage every time I want to equip/unequip a drone , so a button like "ctrl" to activate and deactivate your drone would be perfect

I don't know if this is true for all battles, but at least in xp/bp battles the overdrive icon is on the lower left part of the screen as usual and always stays at 0%. 

 

Kindly remove this as it is very annoying and distracting. Thank you

When looking at the battle list, one sees a little person icon on the right side of where it shows the number on players per team if they have friend(s) in that battle. I am suggesting that if the friend is on the red team, the icon is on the left side, and if they are on the blue team, the icon is on the right side.

 

This makes sense, right?

Hi, I suggest that for the new juggernaut mode, you should change the color of the notifications that keep saying how powerful the juggernaut is. My reason for this is that the golden color can be very easily confused with a gold box notification, or the other way around. I have already accidently ignored a gold box because all the notifications were gold and i had the volume almost off, so I couldn't hear the siren. Some people like me sometimes play with it muted, and while playing JGR could miss a gold box completely. I suggest that you change the colour to white, blue or red.
