Does this mean to get a crystal reward for a tournament you need to tell someone in cybersport or Semyon...also where do they have to be posted in free sport section??

Solo and Tandem tournaments are cancelled.

 

Tanki Online administration temporarily cancels official Solo and Tandem tournaments. 

However, from now on players can organize their own tournaments:

• Official cybersport will meanwhile concentrate on developing clan tournaments and streams of battles.
• After a minor check by organizers, any player can create his or her own tournament.
• Organizers of best tournaments that attracted a big number of participants and positive feedback, will be supported with crystal funds for the tournament and personal reward.
• Best organizers that will join the official cybersport teams and will take part in organizing official tournaments.

Thanks to this system, solo and tandem tournaments will be held all the time, not 3-4 times a year.

   

   

    

 

 

Some players from Russian community already created their TOF tournaments. When will we be able to do same here, in English community?

just a question, how many spots will there be in leagues 1 and 2 ??  will they be the same as the original plan, i.e. 16 and 32 ?  or will they be lower for our community cause we clearly do not have enough clans and teams to fill it all in.

I really liked the current formats.  I did enjoy the Lucky 7 formats as well, but after L7, the initial WQT formats were fantastic from my point of view.  It was lengthy, technical, complicated, had several restrictions like no more than 2 rails in medium, 1 thunder only and on light tanks, same for twins, 1 wasp only and a Net HP balance range of 1000 to 1260 ... it was very exciting  B) .... even with internal disputes within clans themselves (most clans did, don't lie :p ) it was still a formidable format,, everything was spiced up :)

 

It felt like a real sport !!!  :)

 

 

just saddened to see it go and replaced by a very amateurish all is allowed with 1 shaft only :(

 

but well I guess several of the russian kids couldn't keep up with it and complained a lot about it ... just too bad :(

Russians already have a top league, we couldn't get in there, and I believe semyon stated somewhere that each community will have their own leagues.

I would like to say that I am in a very active clan and I think that I can speak for every member when I say that being in a clan is the best experience you can archive in Tanki.

In this International community, we have members from all around the globe, our skype chat is active almost 24 hrs a day, web site, forum activity, and every member has worked together to make this happen.

And, we’re all ready to Kick the Tyres.

 

Further to having more than 15 members in a clan,

The whole purpose for 4 tiers is to make tournaments that are geared to players of different levels of skill and garage to participate competitively in tournaments.

I would say that a clan could put together a squad for M2 tournaments and a squad for M3 tournaments if they have the member base to produce two squads.

T4 squad would play only M2 tournaments

T3 would play M3 tournaments

T2 would be the best 32 squads coming from T3 Squads from all clans

And T1 (TOP LEAGUE) would be the best 16 T2 clan squads

These players would have a special designation in their clan as elite Top League members of the clan. This way all clans can continually train future elite players from within their organisation. Any changes to the members of the squad may only come up from one level below so a T2 player may move up to a T1 player.

Clans can be in two Tiers, ie: Clan A has a squad of 15 m2 players in T4 and a squad in T3, Clan B has a squad in tier 3 and one in tier 2, Clan C might only have a T2 squad, etc...

No squad may be less than 10 members or more than 15 members and each Squad in a clan will have a designation such asTop Gun" [TG] T3 Squad and [TG] T4 Squad".

This will ensure that active clans can maintain a strong base for the long run.
