You've Touched My Heart
You've given me a reason
For smiling once again,
You've filled my life with peaceful dreams
and you've become my closest friend.

And from this world I should part,
I shall be forever young

As I sit, surrounded by Christmas cheer
My mind drifts back to this time last year
The crowd fell away and I saw only you
No more than a glance but my heart somehow knew

Before I met you I'd had my share of sorrow
So I was instantly guarded and full of bravado
You were never fooled and you saw the real me
And I realised I can only be the best I can be

We shared our first laugh, our first kiss, our first smile
And I tried to not love you, at least for a while
We became friends and lovers, I bared my soul
It was only with you that I began to feel whole

When you declared your love you broke down my defences
Happiness and hope overwhelmed my senses
Ever since then our love has continued to grow
And with you by my side I will always know

That you will laugh at my tantrums, you will kiss my tears
You will hold my hand to allay any fears
Each night we lie in bed entwined
Our dreams, our hopes, our souls are aligned

And as we sit in the light of our Christmas tree,
I need to convey how much you mean to me
Let us freeze this moment and take time to treasure
A year full of laughter, love and pleasure

Thank you for all of the love you've bestowed
And although the rest of our story’s untold
I would trade a lifetime without you for our last year together
You have changed my life, infinitely, for the better

As I gaze into her liquid gold eyes,
Poetry radiates from her warm soul
Her lips brush mine and I soar through the skies
Passion seizes me; I loose my control

An amalgam of thoughts pierce through my mind
There is love, trust, yet I feel petrified
I know destiny; our fate’s intertwined
But what if she’s a dream, one I’m denied?

A thousand years I could spend with those suns
Amid her presence I’ve conquered all realms
I’ve witnessed beauty that forever stuns
And have basked beneath her forest of elms

Then and there, I grasp truth with clarity
She’s in my arms; there’s no obscurity

 

 

I'd move mountains to be by your side,
bare the worst of the weather,
just to look in your eyes.

I'd cross the largest oceans,
the stormiest seas,
a smile from you, makes me weak at the knees.

I'll be your strength, when you are weak,
I'll be your friend when you are sad,
I'll be all the things you've wanted, and wish you always had.

I'll believe in you for eternity,
I'll stay with you till the end,
I'll take the stars from the sky,
which you can forever lend.

One day I'll finally have to go,
just know I'll still be there,
when the sun shines down from heaven,
to show I'll always care!

Sort of expected better from abusufian and samsondsouza...

is it supposed to be a rhyme poem? or can it be just a love story that you did?

Also you mean Romantic like Love poem? Because most players will make "sexual" poem, so maybe you should make a rules in your topic saying that "sexual" poems aren't aloud.

Poems don't have to rhyme.

As for regulating entries, the forum rules would apply to them anyway. So any inappropriate entries would most likely be removed by the newspaper team. But it's good you're being considerate about such things!

I was coming with Thunder   :wub:    but a close shot destroyed me....

 

Then i came with Twins   :wub:    but a shaft from faraway killed me....

 

After that i came with Shaft   :wub:    but the reloading was too long for me....

And there was one solution that is Ricochet

i shooted at the wall but the balls bounced at me...

 

So i realised that with tanki there is no hope with no real money
