ATTENTION Isida players:

I'm mostly a Vulcan/Titan user, though I have Isida on another account. I'm here to give the Isida players a heads up. On my Vulcan I have the Incendiary Band alt, which means when I start to overheat my shells are also heating up the enemy tanks. I firmly appreciate Isidas, no doubt about it. Many Isida players are making a huge mistake. While I'm overheating and giving the enemy a good burn, the Isida is trying to heal me completely. Most Isidas run out of umph before I'm healed, which is a big waste. Those who manage to heal me, take away the burn effect on the enemy tanks.

When you come across a Vulcan that is hard to heal from the burn, don't waste your precious energy trying to completely heal them. Just give them enough "juice" to keep them alive...that's all.

Thank you, my dear Isida players. You are a valuable asset to any team. Keep up the good work.

I understand your concern. Are you sending this message towards ALL Isida players or are you sending it to the Isidas who help the attackers?

Since I use Titan with my Isida, I'm usually at the back or the back of the middle. I am most often seen with the defenders and usually, the Vulcans with the Incendiary Band alteration are at the back which is a good convenience for me. I don't have trouble healing them in MM battles. However, having it in no-supply PRO battles wouldn't really make that much sense since you usually die before the alteration can kick in and that is wasting 10% of your damage.

I'm just giving a heads up to the Isida players who try to completely heal a Vulcan with the Incendiary Band Alt.

Here are two recent examples:

I was next to a building and the Isida was behind the building healing me. I don't know how many times he ran out of healing juice, but it was at least 3 times. Another Isida came and between both of them, they kept me completely healed so the Incendiary Band alt never went into effect again.

in comparison, in another battle, the Isida finally got the idea that I had the alteration and just gave me a "squirt" once in awhile to keep my health up, but not enough to take away the burn nor him running out of Juice. When he and I were attacked, I loaded a RK and we went on the attack together. Had he been like the first Isida in the first example, he would have been dead before he could reload.

As you know, it's very difficult for a Vulcan tank to survive a head on attack. My tank maneuvers faster than the turret turns. In a situation like this, an Isida with a full or nearly full turret is more valuable than one who is empty or nearly empty because he was trying to keep me from burning.

I haven't experienced the first scenario as yet. I remember completely healing Vulcans with it and the burning effect was not taken away. Plus,  they removed the temperature regulating effect of Isida for a while now.

I try to heal the Vulcans with the alt as much as I could because they are usually the game changer in that battle. They get high scores and they demoralize the enemy from going out into the open unprotected. Also, being the "game changer Vulcan" usually depends on the map you're using the alteration in. So maps like Sandal and Magistral are good maps to have them be able to survive for as long as possible compared to the others I've been in with them.

In a MM Polygon ASL battle,  three golds had dropped.  This was the last one that had dropped in the battle. I couldn't find the spot anywhere until I saw an enemy Fire + Hunter going up the ramp and getting killed. This guy here was at it. Another Firebird who was going up the ramp turned the other way thinking that the guy was gonna take it anyway. I went up the ramp reluctantly and the guy drove backwards and shot at the gold box.

This is the most generous thing anyone has done for me as an Isida in a MM battle. :D

I guess there still are generous people out there. The last time someone kept a gold safe for me in MM was months ago.

Developed new liking for this turret, I realized I wasn't using it right before

I used to prioritize attack  over healing letting my teamates die but now that I prioritize healing I have better score and gameplay with Isida

Will get nanobot alteration

I bought the Broadband Radiators alteration for Isida and I was checking the changes in battle. I think the +200% Cone Angle is good, specially when playing in Space mode, but the -25% range is too short. I think it should be at least -20%.

Now the stock Isida needs something like a +50% Cone Angle, because it's inadecuate with tall Hulls like Hunter and Dictator, and let's not even mention Space mode and maps like Massacre.

Does the Nanoblast Reactor affect healing power? Or healing ability?

The 'Nanomass reactor' alteration for Isida fully recharges the Isida's energy tank (ammo levels) upon it destroying an enemy tank, though it increases its energy consumption by +50% (for both healing and attacking modes), so as a result the Isida's healing ability is negatively affected due to the increased overall energy consumption rate.

So, the healing would be very inefficient. Thanks.

Vulcan, firebird, hammer and smokey all have insanely powerful alterations. I think Isida deserves one as well. I was thinking maybe bringing back the self healing think or have a healing only mode so you can only heal your teammates and yourself slowly but you cannot attack at all. like if you agree

I remember when we used to get variable score depending on the rank difference between you and the destroyed enemy. I remember it as yesterday when I found out about it.. On the ramp in Silence I destroyed a Marshal as Staff Sergeant or something; I had M0's lol, was blown away by the amount of score it gave me. Isida also recieved much more points, fully restoring a Mammoth than it would do so with healing a Hornet. All healthbars still give you the same amount of points currently and I think it should depend on the hull again.

When I use Isida, I am just all about healing to take a break from the 'normal' turrets. I have the nanobot alt on most of the time. Despite my effort, I still end up somewhere in the middle of the score chart most of the time. That doesn't stop me from having a blast.  It feels good to heal people especially when they thank you after.

You would be completely dependent on your team.  Don't think I'd ever buy that.

But I agree that Isida pretty much has the worst alterations.

I have tons of hours on Isida, and would not buy any of the alts introduced so far.

They should introduce an alt that reduces DPS but extends energy pool so it does more overall damage before energy depleted.

I notice an update in tanki where now Isida does not get points for healing self-damage of turrets

So I was healing a vulcan+titan and got no exp no matter how much I healed unless the vulcan was damaged by an opponents turret - so I guess this update was released to counter power-leveling but is negative for vulcan-titans that want to be healed by Isidas - because there is no mutual benefit anymore unless vulcan is damaged by enemy

LOL... no wonder I was finishing near bottom of score-boared even though I healed until I was empty.

That's just brutal.

And yes - bad for Vulcans.

This is why a lot of Isidas usually don't keep healing the Incendiary Band Vulcans. They barely get EXP for it.

I had a MM battle where I was healing an Incendiary Band Vulcan for 6 and a half minutes and I only had 35 score. I had to leave the Vulcan to go out with the attackers to get the 90 score required to earn stars.

You misunderstood, I am talking about the self-damage that turrets like Thunder Vulcan Ricochet etc give themselves, now if an Isida heals this self damage it will get no score

I perfectly understood you, just wanted you to be more precise. You will need to conduct more experimentation and share the result in the bug and glitch report topic.

I think we should stay open to all possibilities until we gather more information from the field and/or get developers communication.

It also could be an experiment from them. Sometime they try things and then removes them, sometime we notice sometime we don,t. I bet this issue was noticed first by powerlevellers :)

Yeah well I was saying what I noticed, not closing down all possibilities - this was definitely an update by devs, if this is an experiment or not we don't know.

I wouldn't bet on the powerleveller part this is easy to notice for anyone who uses Isida

I would prefer this to be a glitch rather than a permanent feature, because such update would penalises more the Isida users than the cheaters.
