Maybe I should have stayed. It was a tough battle and I was constantly being bombarded by Firebird and Freeze. Don't most Isidas have a low K/D? I would think a team would welcome an Isida. So, why ask one to leave? In this case, the other team had an Isida and we were about evenly matched. When I killed the Isida, I didn't have much health left.

For the first year I was on Tanki all I used was Isida and yes, my K/D was low as well because I spent the time healing (as it was the fastest way to earn points and rank up) and not doing much killing unless the other side invaded the base where I sat.

So yes, a low K/D for Isidas is pretty common, I would have thought.

And yes they should have been glad to have you there.  Too many teenagers in this game with the mentality of pre-teens.

Stuff them, you've got as much right to be in any battle as they do, regardless of your K/D, hull or turret.

Thank you all for the help. I was beginning to have some doubts about my abilities. You have given me renewed confidence in my favorite turret. Yes, I should have ignored Egogun and his friend. Thanks again.

Oh, by the way, the other battle I was asked to leave was a Legends CTF on Hill 4 vs 4 we were winning. But once we got a good lead, the whole team told me to leave. All of them had Titans and Mammoths and an Isida can only go for just so long. I tried to stay in that one, but when they saw I wasn't leaving me, 3 of my teammates started sabotaging me by pushing me off the map every chance they got. I finally left.

There are times where there's no point in staying - such as that small 4vs4 team - and the choice is yours.   On a larger team there might be two kids that think it's "fun" to bully you, but there will be another four or five on your team that will be a bit more mature and those are the ones I would stay in the battle for.

But when you've got a small team of 4, and three of them are ar$eholes, I would just leave them to it.  Their loss.

Thankfully the majority of players in this game are decent people, it's just let down by a few with rug rat attitudes.  Don't let them destroy your enjoyment of the game.

When you're in battle, if someone gives you problems like you've had, get close enough to them to read their name above their tank (press Print Screen on your keyboard to get a screenshot if needed) and try to find them in the right hand side of the screen where it shows players killed, scored etc and left click their name.

A drop-down menu will appear, and in that left click on "vote" and that will alert moderators.  Not sure I place much hope of any response but it's better than nothing.

Pushing/shoving you is a big no-no.

If all else fails, as I said there's no shame finding another battle with better players.  But stand your ground first, and if someone tells you to leave, tell them to F-Off, or words to that effect.

The main thing is to have fun, but you are not someone's doormat to walk all over.

Gotta question for the group. I was in a no supply Pro battle on Polygon and a teammate was razzing me about my K/D being low. He said if I wasn't going to use the Isida, I should switch to something else. I told him that I was healing and killing. He called me a nub. I told him if I wasn't wanted my team, I would leave. Another teammate told me to leave. I did.

Am I being too sensitive? Should I have ignored both players and stayed? This isn't the first time I've been asked to leave. Should I consider leaving the Isida alone and concentrate on Firebird? Isida/viking is my main combo. I use Isida 90% of the time. Any advice?

I might have played with losers like that.  Told him/her to get bent and made sure he/she knew that was the only team-mate I would NOT heal.

KD means absolutely nothing.

Hmmm, I found this on the Russian Wiki for Isida the other day. I checked the other turrets for any information that the EN players don't have and I didn't find anything. Can someone test this out to see if it's true? From my experience and memory, this hasn't happened.

Isida-Secret.jpg

Just to clarify, what I'm getting from this translation is that when an Isida dies while giving a player 6 score worth of healing, the player would have 6 score backed up until they heal someone for at least 1 score and it would add the 6 to it immediately.

I agree...if I am an isida I note the teammates seeking to help the team and focus on healing them. Folks who should be playing rather than chatting insults don't deserve your assistance.  There are a few turrets that are hard to score great with but are essential to winning team battles...isida and shaft

Yoooo...anyone notice Isidas taking over the leader board with no kills? like damn.

Yup, had a good Assault battle (Assault seems to be the only mode that my Support Nanobots alteration thrives in) yesterday. Here it is:

Great-Isida-game-with-Koncrete.jpg

I had two Incendiary Vulcans to heal and luckily, a Striker and an enemy incendiary Vulcan were shooting at both of them and I was racking up some sweet points. We couldn't capture any flag because of their defence so we just played TDM till the battle was over.

Edit: Shiki was an enemy Isida who was healing the Incediary Vulcan that my Incendiary Vulcans were shooting.

Ok, I can confirm this now. got killed while healing a guy. When I respawned, I healed a guy for two ticks of healing and my score went from 223 to 230 instantly.

Why isn't this written in the EN Wiki? They have players thinking that they're losing all the exp gained from healing when they die while doing it.

These are some good battles using the Support Nanobots alteration:

 Great-Isida-Game-2.jpg

I had an Incendiary Vulcan and a Mammoth Shaft to heal.

 Great-Isida-Game-3.jpg

It was a small map so I had a lot of players in reach that I could've healed.

 great-Isida-game-4-but-with-a-twist.jpg

This one was a bit trickier. Enemies were all up in our base and I had to depend on my teammates to keep me alive which wasn't a well-done task by them.

The one thing that irritates me is that I often find myself in the proximity of enemies, alone. Many times, I played with Legends who had 50% protection against me and double armour and I was only doing 29 damage per tick.

I can't really defend myself against enemies due to my decreased damage. I hate being almost defenceless but I don't like not healing my teammates either so I'll endure the hardship.

Edit: This one one of the more worse games I had.

 Bad-Isida-game.jpg

Enemies kept singling me off every time I spawned. and I was barely able to get points at the beginning and middle of the battle. My teammates weren't even trying to protect me.  To many people's eyes, it might have looked like I was multing because I was last place with less than 50 points with 8 deaths and 0 kills.

Oh, that. Yes, I've been trying to slowly bring it back up to about 1.60. I don't want it to go below 1.50.

When you checked my profile, you would have seen that I had a lot of EXP and hours with Smoky and Viking. Smoky was the foundation for this account because I spent all my crystals upgrading it after I bought the "Striker Kit" (Smoky M! + Viking M1) at a point in time when I was at Sergeant-Major I think. I wanted the Blizzard Kit back then but the price had suddenly hiked so I couldn't afford it anymore. It was either the Striker Kit, or the Harvester Kit (Vulcan M1 and Titan M1) and I chose the Striker Kit.

This, also, was back when the number of steps for micro-upgrades was 50 and you would be paying 2x the amount on all the steps than the price of the next modification. I invested a lot of crystals into Smoky and it paid off with me having high K/Ds in a lot of my battles. The only thing that set me back was the PRO battles with upgrades disabled.

When I was at 2nd Lieutenant, I had bought Isida M2 just so I could have a supportive turret (I like defending and supporting) and a suppressive turret. I loved playing with it back then more than I did before on other accounts before this one. Using it more though made into a selfless player, risking my life so my allies could cap the last flag. This is what brought my K/D down a lot. I had a K/D of more than 5 at a point in time. After I had purchased Isida, I started using Smoky less and less then the K/D dropped to 3.

At this point, I was at the rank of Major or Lieutenant Colonel and M2 Smoky was right around the corner. Thanks to the MU update that reduced the steps to 10, I had SMoky at 9/10 so I didn't need to spend crystals on it right away so I kept playing Isida and loving its supportive capabilities.

I was able to keep a, in my opinion, good K/d with the old Isida but the nerf forced me to play with Support Nanobots because I prefer healing over damaging. Enemies come onto me and I barely have damage to defend myself properly so my K/D in team battles now suffer because of this. I play with Striker, Magnum and in rare cases, Hammer in DMs to bring back up my K/D now.

Sometimes I wonder what my Tanki experience on this account would have been like if I hadn't had bought M2 Isida. I may have kept using Smoky and maybe I might have bought Ricochet M2 earlier or M2 Freeze.

Isida changed my entire experience and the way I look at other tankers in the game and I'm thankful for that.

So was in a CP MM battle and two isidas there with nanobot alts in the same clan were healing eachother the whole time and taking points, they both got top positions in their team and almost won too... it was 11-10 points - people like this exploit battles and both of them come first and get 6 stars if they win, their scores were much higher than everyone else

there should be a nerf on isida-on-isida healing

Fought a team with 4 isidas in a ctf battle.  They lost badly.  Having no range (or attack for that matter) did them in.

I've only done this twice with another Isida but only because our team were getting...not blownout...but dominated. Today was the second time I did it and my team was being dominated by the other in a CP.

This is the first one. The two players above me and I were also Isidas and we were just taking damage in the enemy base because we had all the capture points and won flawlessly, 30-0.

 1st-death-end.jpg

It seems like I didn't screenshot my last one. I'm pretty sure I did. Basically, I and this Isida Hunter were under constant fire so we just kept healing each other and we both flew up to the top. Our team was being dominated so we might as well have gotten some score from it.

It wouldn't necessarily be "Isida-on-Isida healing" because you're healing the hull, not the turret so the turret doesn't matter.

Do you know what would have prevented this? Leaving Isida the way it was.  :)  :)  :)

Ok but these two isidas were just healing eachother for score rarely healing other team mates, when both isidas are healing eachother they score allot and are difficult to kill (these ones were nanobots with heavy hulls) there should be like 50% less healing rate when healing another isida

I and @hotgirltankerswag did this in some battles. We were having so much fun. You can see it as us not healing our other teammates as much as we're supposed to but it serves for a great distraction. In a few of the battles, we had half of the enemy team surrounding us just to try and kill us. This was a great distance away from their base where our allies were able to capture points, flags and balls.

It's amazing how distracted players are. There was an Incendiary Vulcan in a Brest ASL on the blue team on the high ground. He was shooting us and we would take turns getting damage and healing each other. That Vulcan was smart because he directed his focus away from us after he realised we were healing each other.

I don't expect this to last forever (figuratively) but it makes using Support Nanobots just a little bit more fun. I still hate that we can't defend ourselves especially if the enemy has Isida protection. I use my whole bar of ammo and then some just to kill a medium hull assuming we both have no supplies activated.

I see a lot of Isidas with the Nanobots alt lately, so I guess it's a good buy. As I like to play Isida myself, I'm thinking of buying this alt as well. But what about attack? Do you get too weak to try to kill an enemy tank?
