I am not really a fan for forums. But I was compelled to say one or two of my thoughts about a matter, which really surprised me.

 

First let's think of the meaning of "Upgrades"

 

Upgrade is to raise (something) to a higher standard, in particular improve (equipment or machinery) by adding or replacing components.

 

When I wanted to upgrade my drone, I saw there no improvement.

With other words, I have to pay for nothing. literally I have to pay for it. .for nothing I get

And have to wait 5 days so that my upgrade level will raise from 0 --> 0

 

Now lets see. I have to pay. I have to wait for 5 days. And I get no particular improve at all

 

First of all - please use the default font - your choice is way too loud - it's like yelling.

 

With regards to not seeing improvement on a drone MU can you be more specific?

What drone?

What level were you at?

What did popup say when you clicked "upgrade"?

 

Is the upgrade still going?  maybe it's not finished...

Ss the upgrade an "intermediary" one where you might not see improvement until the NEXT upgrade?

 

Need more detail to understand what you are trying to say...

He's talking about the Saboteur Drone. On some upgrade steps, they don't increase the number of mines planted around the original mine and the mine activation time after planting the original mine. He's at 5/20 upgrades. 

 

I made a post above yours helping him to explain the situation and what to do in the future.

So... complaining about an "intermediary" upgrade on an OP drone...   some people are never happy.

It shouldn't be that much difficult to understand what I am talking about.

But let me give you some extra information and please do not bother me with childish gibberish of yours.

For the next upgrade, neither the mind activation time nor number of planted additional mines raise.

Now someone starts implementing ideas like think of it this way, you buy the parts of the drones.. 

Well, I didn't know I had only half of the drone. Geez. Really. Geez.

Think of it this way, you have a rocket launcher but you don't have the rocket yet. Really guys please enough.. Stop it

 

It is not that difficult to understand.

upgrade 6 =  25k = 5 days .. upgrades 0 --> 0  no upgrades. This can't be called an upgrade

upgrade 7 = 35k = 6 days... upgrades 0 --> 1

 

how about

upgrade 6 = 60k = 11 days   upgrades 0 --> 1  Then we can talk about an upgrade

 

I know someo of you will still not understand what I'm talking about.

It's clear in this sentence and your last words in your post that it's futile to discuss anything with you or to allow you to see things differently rather than superficially and irrationally. 

 

You clearly don't understand how the upgrade system works. When you saw that "fault" in it, you couldn't even tell that it was for the greater good.

While I agree with you that he clearly should've gone to the wiki to look up the info. I think he made a valid point about some steps in the saboteur drone not upgrading anything.

Maybe the number of steps for the saboteur drone should go down to 8 with each step more pricey.

Why?

They purposely priced it that way.  It is an OP drone.  You want to upgrade it?  You gotta pay... and wait... or pay more and don't wait.

 

There are a lot of games that do upgrades that way.  Even role-playing games that have skills/levels to upgrade.  Sometimes there are steps that add only something minor, or... just act as a step to the next upgrade.  It is not unique to TO.

I have miner... it's kind of meh.  I find Trooper way more effective - especially when you get half-way through upgrades.

 

Miner - once upgraded to 5 or 6 permanent mines there's not much point in going further - the mine cooldown prevents you from laying more.

Unless you die quite often... which.. is not a good sign.

Miner isn't OP. It takes too long to actually get your worth out of it. You can't use a fully upgraded miner in a MM battle. What would be the point of that?
