English — Russian Dictionary & Translation Requests

so how do you say "lol" in russian?

Well, we don't. It's an English acronym. In fact, writing "lol" with russian letters is actually an insult, and means something completely different, if I understood correctly.

To react to something funny we usually just write "xaxaxa" or a smiley face.

Is there any way to copy and paste russian words onto the tanki chat? Because I can't seem to be able to type in russian.

Well, you can copy and paste words from a translator (like google translate) or type them directly if you add a Russian keyboard in your PC settings. What you can't do is copy any text from the battle chat.

My bad, I just realized that it's possible to do that, I was just confusing it with copying stuff from the chat. Thanks.

Hey, can you translate what SkyWay_ua is saying?

not sure about the first two but they were definitely related to golds

in the last one he said: I have 84 golds (with a smiley face)

When you guys see "жаггер?" This mean "Where is the Juggernaut"?

Or when a Russian tanker is the Juggernaut and want to team with him/her, say "мир джаггернаут" (mir dzhaggernaut).

It just means "jugger", not necessarily "where is juggernaut"

someone plz translate, thx

First one is "do you need your turret lubricated?"

Probably aimed at someone not turning their turret.

Second one is insults, so screenshot removed.

I have a good bit of stuff to translate. If they're insults, you can remove them. I'll try to remember what happened in these screenshots that made them write what they wrote.

I'm not sure exactly what he's thankful for.

Oh, it really looked like you were using one. Anyway, it's best to avoid guessing, or at least mention which ones you're not sure about.

okay sorry.

in that case, I'm only fairly certain about the internet connection one, the one about shaft doesn't exactly translate to "shaft alright" but rather something like "shaft grrrr" (i think) and the rest i'm not that sure.

"Shaft grrrr" would make sense considering what happened to him.

What can you obtain from the screenshots?

wait actually... i think (i'm guessing based on other times i saw it used in the past) that the vulcan one is actually "vulcan you're doomed" or "vulcan you're so dead" or maybe "vulcan prepare to die" or it could be "vulcan is dead/useless/finished"

Hehe, that one makes sense as well. It was his fault for getting in my line of fire often.  :P He still didn't get me for the entire battle, I was on high alert for him.
